611 used to run steam excursions on the Norfolk Southern "Peavine" line. It ran from Portsmouth Ohio at its turn out at vera junction to the zoo in Cincinatti Ohio. That lines turnout at Vera has been taken out. The line was sold to the East Cincinatti Railroad and they dont use the line east of Peebles Ohio.

I also live roughly 30 miles east of portsmouth in the Tri state area and am doing some research on the Peavine line. Possibly for a future video.

I'll see it on my drive into work, I pass strasburg on my way to dutch wonderland and so I'll be there all weekend, which means i cant go to strasburg sadly
