I see the fantasticaly beautiful Gorlsdorf designed steam locomotive still exists. I thought it was gone. I have only seen them in old photographs. Fantastic....Thank you..

I'm pleased you enjoyed it, there are railway museums all over Europe, it's amazing how many steam locomotives have survived to this day.

Hi Tim! There is always something to see in Strasshof👍. When I started working for the railway 50 years ago, all of these locomotives were still in scheduled service. The Class 52.100 is really an Oldie and one of the first from this Class. Best regards from the Mühlviertel, Hans 🍻🇦🇹.

Yes, "schieben" means push. The last few commands sound like the remaining meters needed before stopping the train. "dreißig, schieben, zehn, acht, sechs, vier, zwo und halt" - "30, push, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and stop"

Hello Neil, the train was reversing and the voice you can hear is the guard communicating with the driver to let him know whether or not it was OK to proceed.
