Semi-Spoiler: Despite a desync in the final minute of the game, I decided to keep this one - until that point it was a brilliant game. In addition - With just 30 seconds analysis, which i then provide, it was almost a certainty who was going to win. After Casting, as I write this, I went to review the FAF score change, based on the specific game in question, and the winning team was indeed as we suspected during the ending of the game cast. Don't think anyone's gonna be suprised by that!

In the campaign, 'Recall' is Cybran technology that is shared amongst the alliance to allow ACU's to be teleported offworld without the use of a quantum gateway. In the opening video when you launch FA client (on steam) you will notice Dostya 'recalls' from the battle but the UEF ACU sticks around too long and gets popped.

I've watched Gyle's casts for six years, and while I still love his style, I think you have an equally great style of casting - a lot of interesting analysis of high-level play and a different affect that works well for SupCom games!

Wow.. That's surprising for me to read that... While I certainly put in the effort, I never thought anyone would place me even close. I'm passionate and know the game mechanics, but i'm still kinda new to live casting commentary - so thank you. I like your casts, but there's something with your audio when you talk that makes it very difficult to listen to. Do you lower the game sound when you talk?

Yes, i've got a couple comments on it lately, and trying to find the sweet spot (besides just playing the game sounds really quiet). Do let us know in my latest cast ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIDZd6J6itesic0 ) if the audio-ducking is still too much for you. I've listened back on 3 different devices, and my laptop plays the ducking like you say, yet with headphones, it seems perfect - it definitely varies depending on what device it is listened on - which is why I think so few mention it. I do want to improve it for all, so do let us know if you have chance, and i'll continue tweaking until we get it right. Thanks

It's true. When I first started the channel, I ducked the sound too aggressively when I spoke, and several people mentioned it (depended on the device you listen with, some didn't notice it at all, others very much so). I resolved the issue a cast or so later, months ago now. Thanks for reminder though, and please point out any stuff you dislike in my newer videos. I'm always improving and learning as I go

Thanks man. Ideally I wouldn't upload so often, and took 2-3 days off previously, but when a KZbin channel is new, it's better to upload a little more, as it helps me figure out the kinda things that work, and the kinda things that don't. For example I've already learnt that people much prefer watching larger games, and that all else being equal, casts that I livestream Vs recor-upload, end up with about half as many views (despite literally being the same thing, with no extra editing or fancy tricks to try milk the algorithms). One of the worst things that can happen to established KZbin channels is a thing I call "Stale subscriber apathy" - these are the channels who might have 100k subs or more, but struggle to get 1,000 views on a video. Subscribers got bored, stopped clicking, they never unsubbed though, so KZbin never shows them up again to their own subscriber base. My ultimate aim for the channel, will be to pick 2-3 regular slots per week, and have a fresh video ready at that time. I'm always looking for games that went down in the last 24 hours, as I don't have time to check every other casters catalogue of videos, to ensure I didn't accidentally copy cast, and it does occasionally happen (Gyle cast my Uber pro Setons a day after I did - no harm no foul, can't expect him to check my stuff either - and willow already apologised to me for doing the same, I told him not to worry, it's impossible to keep on top of everything.) Thanks again though for your kind support and continued support

Regarding the the ASF swarm over the Yolo. Nory mentioned "kill anti" and "with asf crash". Indeed, I believe Wreck intentionally crashed the ASFs to cause fall damage, but to the yolo, as he was swarming around it (whilst not swarming around the anti, which was a bit to the northwest). And the ASF either caused significant fall damage, or then J.A. power stalled, as the shields all went off. I'd wager the former. I do not think that Wreck swarmed to intercept a nuke, as 1) he swarmed before the nuke was launched (and there is a slight delay from launched, to the projectile exiting) and 2) I do not believe that a nuke projectile would detonate if it collides with something in the air. And a yolo-super-nuke would perhaps even require multiple collisions? I am not sure.

Unless they fixed it, it was absolutely viable to catch a nuke with asfs when it is being launched. Even over your base, if you are the target, it would lessen the impact.

If you mean with the first big fight with me vs zwie, i dont think pushing more would have been better since i had more destros than him(pretty sure) and slightly less frigs but not by much. So even if after our frigs/destros fight and he ends up with slightly more, i will just get reinforcements and/or kill the remaining frigs with my extra battleships. Also an important note to remember is that the aeon frigs have a fair bit more range than the sera ones so, even though it looked like he was far back, all his frigs were doing damage to mine.

I've been seeing a lot of new FAF vid channels, and as much as I love the extra coverage and more games to watch, I feel like people should put # gylecast-inspired. Similar to how JCS content is tributed. I'd wager a fair chunk of the players of faf (myself, and 4 of my friends) started playing thanks to him.

Hey man, to add to your thoughts, I put KZbin studio on my second device the other day (from Google play store) and it had the "100 million" badge. That's an awful lot of content creators, that never used to be - and doesn't even include those using iPhone. That said, while Gyle has been promoting the game a very long time, and his experience & patreon shows, I was playing this game, and uploaded a few SupComFA videos to my old babyalien83 channel - before Gyle posted (they're still on). So while I respect you think I should put "Gyle inspired" in all my videos, at least in my case, they're just not. I run a couple of other channels, and for some reason I fell in love with casting an old favourite, and decided to split off FAF casting from my other stuff, so I didn't content mix too much. Anyway that said, I think most of us can agree that Gyle certainly helped support an old game for a number of years by his lonesome, keeping it in the public eye, and he's certainly been rewarded for his early doors efforts, earning a decent full time wage. I'm fortunate I don't need to worry about the financials on this channel, and hopefully I can keep it that way, and I'll continue to mention Gyle every few casts, because every so often I find myself using a phrase, and specifically the odd colour, and credit where it's due.
