I used to play History Line 1914 - 1918 when I was a child, and I think that was my start into strategy games. On a C64 if I remember correctly. I was not really good at this game, but I had fun. :D

I STILL play HL14-18 from time to time. Very casual because the AI is so weak (even compared to today's weak standards) but still a great history lesson. :)

Are there any beginner-friendly scenarios? (I backed off of this game a few years ago, because of not having a tutorial.)

There are shorter scenarios, but not really beginner-friendly or tutorial in that nature
