I do believe Adam is a multiplicative-value character. The more you lean into advantageous traits the better he becomes. I can see him becoming extremely good in competitive play quickly, especially if they slightly tweak other support characters.

Yeah strategists are a big problem... Also, teamups are depressingly designed, overly rewarding players for dimoky choosing the correct characters, the only good ones are Wolverine throw and the Groot shoulder ride because they arent a end all be all and they arent free either, team ups SHOULD REQUIRE interaction and intention between the parties involved! Even if its a soft interaction... Heres a example, Namor gets a frost pet for free, but what if that frost pet was only available when he had Luna's snowflake on him? That would be much better than giving free benefits for no reason... Great idea, terribly executed.

yeah, right now i think it's also optimal (especially on attack) in cases to just play to build support ults first and win off that, which is a really lame. building ult through damage should be more efficient than healing to encourage proactive play.

Stats dont tell the whole story. 2-2-2 has the highest win rate because its the most consistent. It's always going to be good at the worst and strong at the best. You don't know a lot of coordination or strategy with 2-2-2 since it's balanced all around. When you start getting triple DPS tank or healer, you gotta play the game differently and it may also be very map dependent. The problem is that triple support is too easily strong and just boring to play with how strong the ults are.

@@doug2555 no if anything triple support is EASIER. Because it’s more forgiving for when you make stupid plays or waste support ultimates because you just have so much healing that if the enemy team isn’t on the right characters or doesn’t focus fire correctly they can’t kill you

No a dps shouldn’t be able to outpace a support because then what’s the point of having a support ult they are there to counter you need to just reduce the duration so they aren’t so stall and you can wait them out

I watched Sypeh reach ranked #1 again yesterday. He pretty much carried on Loki whilst the other healer went Luna/Cloak. Loki's ult charge rate is ridiculous so his ult will come up first, then you just copy Luna ggs

Why do people seem to want the entire game to revolve around using ults? Most of the ults in this game require zero skill or positioning to use. This game needs more downtime where people are forced to use their actual kits. And that ESPECIALLY applies to supports. These immortality ults are literally dumbing down your characters so much that you barely even have to try. Are you strategist mains really ok with having zero skill expression?

Trash take imo if your a backline diver and you force the supports to heal eachother or pop ult to survive then your jobs done just because you dont get a kill on a support while they run away from you while getting pocketted by the other healer it doesnt mean healers are OP if your forcing one support to pocket the other then they arent healing the frontline thats your job done.

Before I start the video, as a strategist main, I only see a few problems and I hope you dont add another. I do think Ults like Lun'as last way too long and Ults like Loki's (my secondary) are way too quick to build up. I really like strategists in this game compared to overwatch but I agree that some are oppressive with Ult up time. The second thing i wanted to note is I hope that no one comments that supports need to do less damage bc thats the other thing about early overwatch i hate is it felt like you had to only heal. Edit: After watching the video, I'm glad that you and me have the same opinion on Ult charge time.

I have some takes on how to fix support ults. (first of all i think all ults should charge at least 15% slower). Luna snow: ult should build much slower (on top of universal ult nerf) and slightly shorter duration. Invisible Woman: The ult shouldnt heal at all, but then maybe slightly longer duration. (would allow for more cool plays instead of being forced to spam it on the field.) Cloak and Dagger: straight up, revert all their recent buffs. Loki: only suggestion i have is to being unable to target supports. Jeff: i think its fine. Mantis: Hot take: ult is fine. (but unrelated they should nerf her sleep) Adam Warlock: i think its fine (like mercys old ult if it was well designed) Rocket Raccoon: i think its perfectly fine.
