Sir please guide for student like me who have cleared G1 already. Despite clearing G1 I was preparing for It since very 1st day when I have started my preparation for G2 but somehow I can't able do it, to that extent when I was appearing for G1. I tried to cover imp chapters but after giving IBS exam i found that nothing is not imp. Whether it is theoritical Indas in FR or Practical ques in Law Audit. Please guide how to do 7 subjects with 100% syllabus coverage alongwith Job.

If they don’t want rote learning, why are they asking penalties, sections in mcq? They’re asking penalty amount and section so we should have memorised the section but why? In reality we will always look it up online

Thanks for your comment buddy! I do agree that benefit of shorter articleship and more study leave would be available only to May26 and future attempts, but the point I am making is that the more relaxation ICAI is offering to students, the higher the level of papers ICAI would set! Nov24, May 25 and Nov25 batches still have the relaxation of having to deal with only 6 papers as against 8 papers for old scheme students, you know how difficult it is to give 8 consecutive papers, reducing 2 papers is still a great relief, and with that relief ICAI would increase the level of paper. May26 and future attempts with even more relaxation than your attempt might see level of exams even higher than yours! Hope that helps! All the best!

Agar institute it itna hi concern hai quality of audit and other prof services ko leke then institute ko apne classes khole chahiye...self study Kar k koi Kitna hi Sikh lega...institute ko exparts lake bacho ko sikhana chahiye...teacher exam pass karne ka input de sakte ..

And I agree on this that we can't ensure quality with self study, but the other side to this is that accounting professionals across the globe are like CA only, CPA, ACCA, CFA all are certification programs just like CA where students just enroll, study themselves and write exams! Secondly, buddy dont you think we have so many good quality teachers in the market to study from, we can take classes from them if not ICAI and even if ICAI would be providing classes dont you feel the cost for CA course would become as high as MBA 20-30 Lacs? @CAPankajAswaniAIR10 sir...I really appreciate the contribution of teachers like you towards students.. it's immense..but the other flip of the coin is that we cannot compare Indian CA course with course like ACCA CPA etc...considering the stutaory obligation given on the Indian CA...ICAI never taught students personally ...but whenever a statutory failure happens on the part of CA..the professional is personally responsible for the fact reason being whatever student understand during self study may not be the same whatever actually happening in the industry...Example is NFRA punishing many CAs...for corporate failure...but just throughing a book to student and clearing an exam doesnot mean that professional judgement of the student become top knotch after becoming CA... Professional exp and judgement grow only after practicle application of concepts in the real field... But Articleship of all the students also differs considering the type of firm and city they are in.. In this case how one student can ensure that whatever they have and whatever they have understood..everything is as per going and practicing in the industry..and also how ICAI will ensure that all the students who are clearing the exam have the same degree of prof experience to apply in the real auditing world. If ICAI want a professional who can apply equal professional exp right from day 1 after clearing the exam they have to bring experience prof and taught students from a b c d...so that they can develop an approach.. That's what I believe...

Bro, I think you missed the overall point of the video, I am not against the IBS paper, rather I am myself asking students ki paper difficult aye toh bhi you should be prepared! I was just trying to highlight that despite the good intention of ICAI, no one can deny that there are still some flaws students have to face in IBS, baggage issues, group 2 students again having to study group 1 for just one paper! I am just trying to console students for whatever they have faced and motivate them to prep well! Secondly, questions were not ditto from ICAI illustrations and even for some questions that were ditto from ICAI study mat, in a lengthy IBS paper for numerical subjects you simply can't rely on Study Mat to write answers because firstly you would have to spend around 5-7 minutes just to confirm not even a slighest modification has been made in the adjustments. CAs not getting desired package jobs , and institute is keen on making paper more tougher in an unnecessary way , it will fail students in 3-4 attempts then eventually pass them in a mass percentage and then these qualified will not get jobs because of attempts, age and so many factors , if you want to make paper hard make it in a logical way not by testing the rote learning because this rote learning will lead you nowhere and you will not be able to crack interviews , if you consider the effort we CA students put is much higher than people from other background students such as engg or MBAs but we don't even get the job or if we get the package doesn't commensurate the efforts we put , harsh truth but these people will not tell you , This time IBS paper of CA Final has shocked us.

Hi Sourav, I completely agree with you on this! I have been raising this thing on my linkedin. We CA students put so much more effort than MBA folks do but we do not receive the commensurate packages. But let me tell you a few things I observed after working with top IIM grads in the industry for 2 years: 1. While we do feel that MBAs earn much more than CAs do, the reality is not as simple, whether its MBA, CA or Engg, in all the fields its only the topmost achievers that earn the highest possible package for others average package is much lesser. For eg: The role I joined post my CA Rank today offers 26 LPA to CA rankers (freshers) and the same package is offered to Top IIM grads (IIM A,B,C,L, XLRI, etc). Just like non-ranker CA earns around 10-12 LPA avg, the same is the case for Tier 2 and lower MBA grads. 2. Secondly the ROI in CA is much higher than any other course, MBA folks first have to do for a good graduation then have to pay 25-35 lacs for MBA, on the other hand CA students on a max spend only 10% of that amount. So even though I was receiving equal package as an IIM B grad, my ROI was significantly higher than him at least as a starting point (while I do agree that in the longer run MBA folks have better career trajectory than CA rankers). To add to this, the package I was earning at age 21, MBA grads were earning at 24! 3. Secondly, dont you think Institute making difficult papers would push you to study better and rather increase your chances of a rank and a better placement because trust me buddy, I have even run placement workshops the students who pass CA exams with rote learning anyway do not command high packages post qualification, and believe me it's not only rankers who get high package, I have trained non-rankers as well who received around 19 LPA package! So ICAI by making difficult papers is rather incentivizing students not to go towards rote learning and command better packages. Buddy, I genuinely don't like to mislead students with emotional things but rather want to push them to do things logically with proper thought-process and I have just tried to provide a perspective for the students who want to pass CA, get a rank and get high packages, diving into whether you should leave CA or not was the topic that I was looking to cover in the video and I have tried to reflect the same clearly from the thumbnail and the title of the video. Take your time and re-think if you want to continue CA and if you choose to do so, I hope my content adds value in your journey to a great placement! Hope that helps Sourav! @@CAPankajAswaniAIR10 sir with all due respect , how many students pass CA in the very first attempt or second attempt forget the rankholders how many pass CA at the age of 21 which you did ?? If you do regular Bcom then at least you cannot become CA before 23-24 even if you clear in the very first attempt I don't know what was your university type but now 75% attendance is mandatory and no one wants to take the risk of skipping bcom some are reluctant to pursue bcom in distance mode even if you do very few will become CA at 21 , how many get articleship into big 4 or top mid sized firms , articleship experience does matter and we cannot deny that , plus being a ranker you had privilege but let me tell you even those who pass in first attempt or second attempt with no so good articleship experience end up getting mediocre package jobs of 6-8 lacs and I have seen that , and mostly the May 24 placement showed us the reality where one student got package of 3.4 or 3.5 lacs or something which a guy from bcom background or a MBA from roadside college would easily get even if he took multiple attempts I bet he has put more efforts than these bcom or a MBA and trust me sir getting into new IIMs (not A,B,C,Lor I) is easier than clearing CA in one go and new IIMs/XIMB/Symbiosis also offer decent package of 10-15 lacs which a CA with multiple attempts don't even get , you got 26 lacs but trust me very few CAs get this package , I have seen most of them do additional courses like CFA or ACCA to get these packages or have big 4 articleship exposure , even if you consider the stipend we articles literally work for free , I mean yes we are there to learn but the stipend is so low that we are not able to cover our pocket expenses 1500/2000/3000 these are the stipends in small firms and even the daily wage earner gets more than us , I am not comparing IITs or IIMs because my own brother passed out from a pvt engg college and got 10 lacs package as starting in 2018 , my friends who did MBA from average universities got packages of 10-15 lacs and we CAs don't even get that , why?? Simply because we lack skills and focus more on rote learning what's the use of making paper hard where focus is more on rattafication(memory) rather than logic or concepts , we sacrifice our social lives while our friends enjoy but in the end they land up getting higher package jobs with much lesser efforts. Even in govt jobs we don't get special privilege , posts like IRS or Indian Accounting and Auditing Services should be filled up by CAs because we have exposure of litigation and scrutiny so we can handle assessment part also pretty well but then also we have to compete and pass through UPSC stages just like a normal graduate , govt doesn't conduct special exams only for CAs/CMAs to fill up posts for Revenue or accounts department. It's true sir , we CAs don't even compare with IIMs or IITs but even the average engg or MBA guy earns more than us.

I understand Sourav, even I was so skeptical of CA course when I was at your place! But trust me situation is not as bad as you are seeing on linkedin and all! I have myself trained a non-ranker CA with no Big4 experience, Mid-size articleship and she received 19 LPA package! And even after that I am not pushing you to do CA, I myself gave you all the points to consider if you are not sure of it!
