Marc always carries me away with that voice of his! You really ought to check out some of his original Downhere tunes, as he loved playing with his voice like you described in this video.

oh man. that brought tears to my eyes and a lump. He played this as if this was back on Live Aid. I remember who I was with, where were were at watching it on large screens. oh man u2 with or without you live aid 1985 Great points brought up on instruments, and the voice being one of the more complex instruments to not find in a music shop. Robert Plant did a long talk about what he's done. and funny you brought it up. but that swoopy currly thing he did was one thing he talked about. LOL

It's incredible how he can bring such full, epic performances with just his voice and one instrument. That takes tremendous talent and skill. I've also read that Marc's a hard worker and perfectionist. It shows. Thank you for your insight - I love it and I do appreciate your reactions. A treat!

Glad you enjoyed this rendition Jeff! One of Marc’s major musical influences was U2. He’s a big fan of theirs and in certain originals by Marc or in his band Downhere you can hear the U2 elements in the music. Now, for this month we’re gonna explore Marc’s Christmas side👀. So stay tuned…

I’ve heard Bad a thousand times, and I’ve seen it live a dozen times. Marc did an amazing job with this. He captured the emotion behind this song. It was amazing.

Oh, nothing trivial about the mental processes musical people have. It shows how amazing musicians are, that some excel at one aspect, maybe two. And some, like Marc, has a musician's mind for the instrument, and the vocal. He gets the piano solid so he can focus on the audience, he had said once. Great analysis, Jeff!

I really enjoyed your analysis afterwards regarding instruments that you essentially gravitate towards.

Yes, for me as a non-musician, I love when they dig deeper into their craft, to give us a glimpse into what makes their world go round.

I enjoyed this! Love your analysis. I see you as that multi-talented musician that plays so many instruments and it was no surprise you feel that connection to the guitar. Interesting how each musician will find that special relationship. Not musically related, but I feel as an athlete I found that my tri bike is part of me as opposed to my road bike. As I ride it’s an extension of my body and is easily controlled. Just my way of connecting your words to my world. And glad you mentioned Robert Plant. Such a connection to his voice and he is easily able to use it to create such emotion in the listener. Thank you! Great Reaction and wisdom! 🫶🏻🤗❤

The tri bike is an excellent example of what I’m talking about. When it becomes an extension of you, you know.

I recommend making a reaction to one of the best vocalists in the world. The incredible fate of a girl found with a broken collarbone at a bus stop and ended up in an orphanage. Meet Diana Ankudinova! 1) super unique voice (dramatic contralto with polyphonic overtones); 2) the most complex vocal techniques, a bewitching voice; 3) Diana sings in 6 languages : English, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Arabic and any musical genre; 4) incredible charisma, artistry and living of any song; 5) a range of 4 octaves, which at the age of 19 is far from the limit and will continue to grow; 6) a large army of fans around the world; 7) an independent artist, without producers and labels, only with the support of fans and reactors like you; 8) more than 13 thousand reactions. Some reactions have 3.5 million views.
