I bought this DVD as soon as it came out. I've about worn it out. Sting is a genius. If you have never seen this concert and all the behind the scenes that led up to it you are in for an amazing treat!

Saw this tour in Melbourne Australia and it was absolutely epic. This band was amazing. The whole Doco of the band forming and rehearsing is excellent.

Being a solidly huge fan of "The Police" I remember when Sting went solo I brought his new album "The Dream of the Blue Turtles" and it blew me away, when I first heard this version "Shadows in the Rain" I immediately loved it as I did the entire album, my favourite songs on the album are "Children's Crusade" and "Moon over Bourbon Street" It's a great album.

That was an incredible time for Sting. Just when you thought you couldn’t get any better, and the police were at the top of the game he goes often does this. Nice to hear other people went on that journey too.

One of my favorite movies dealing with musicians (fictional or non-fictional) has always been "Bring on the Night". Two others were "The Commitments" and the TV movie about the Temptations.

There's a great quote from Darryl Jones in the movie. "There's no better feeling than just blowing all the other bands away. Just kicking the shit out of all the other bands. It's a really, really great feeling." So true when you can back up the bravado as this band could.
