Thanks for the interview. Informative. Please use a noise gate on audio recordings to cut out breathing into the mic while the other person's talking, and maybe a light de-clicker for mouth clicks.

This was a GREAT interview. I find that This interview puts into question many of Thomas Sowell's economic theorems where he discounts discrimination as a major factor in wealth, and asset-building. Education and hard work doesn't guarantee wealth. It's important, but no guarantee.

Yup, and if you look into several economists' work over the decades, Sowell's work is completely trounced.

19:06 - It's important to keep in mind The co-determinate relationship between things like education, hard work, wealth, and vice versa. It's likely the case that vice versa is even stronger.

15:53 - Prolonged Austerity fits into the functional role of Discrimination... When there's greater scarcity created by austere policy, then you expect even more intense discrimination. You expect groups to be even more competitive (for the limited resources available) and you expect more viciousness within the competition for positioning, so you can benefit your group.

The shift of INET is best exemplified by this video. Once started off with the high standard / aim of being a non-partisan, it now fully switches it roles into a fully politicized think tank, governed with typical left ideas ... its such a shame.

Isn’t this organization funded primarily by George Soros? Why should we take these people seriously? I’m entirely open to supporting a capitalist system that’s better oriented forwards serving the lower and upper class by imposing certain regulations and even nationalizing certain industries. But it’s really hard to take these ideas seriously when in the next breath these so-called “intellectuals” who supposedly advocate for a more people oriented economics, will defend mass, unfettered immigration into this country.

Wealth as an asset is a social determinant. 17:02 - The more wealthy I am, the more healthy I am (potentially, NOT guaranteed. You just have better access to healthier options.) The more wealth I have, the better I can pass it down to my children. Wealth is _'iterative.'_ in nature. It builds over time.

He asserts that whiteness is property that comes with rights. That is asinine. I can't alienate whiteness, or have a claim against someone with respect to whiteness. This is silly, Mr. Hamilton is warping language to push a purely ideological narrative.

I usually appreciate these talks but this guy is just a joke. he clearly doesn't know half of what he thinks he does about politics and his "Stratification Theory" is just a more clumsy critical theory attempting to borrow some economics terms. don't let charlatans like this barge into the field
