Any update on this? Looking at getting the extreme crackles but says it could damage mufflers and o2 sensors?

It is now on the website as loud, in my opinion the progressive is much better. It sounds so much more natural, it won’t pop at any little use of throttle such as driving normal. But WILL pop if you get on it, you can also get it to pop a lot of you feather the throttle and modulate it. Progressive is the way to go in my opinion.

Those crackles and pops is unburned gas that gets ignited in your exhaust and causes those explosions everyone calls crackles and pops. All this does is damage your exhaust components no benefit from this tune but to break necks where ever you go an get the PoPo's attention.

That's not how the crackles work, there's also been no substantial evidence of damaged exhaust components when crackles are used normally. Also, the crackles are just a bonus to your performance tune if you like to have a little extra noise.

They have a disclaimer on their site that crackle tunes are not recommended for stock exhaust and stock downpipes. Best way to experience a crackle tune is with an aftermarket turbo-back exhaust (downpipe + exhaust) and run a defouler for the O2 sensor.
