As a guitar player with short fingers, I'm jealous of the massive tools that Robert Cray has at his disposal.
@brspo19873 жыл бұрын
Can really hear the Albert Collins influence in his playing here. One thing I really love about Robert Cray is that he sort of flips the conventional wisdom for Stratocaster positions on it's head. Very different to see a guy play the rhythm sections on the neck pickup and then switch to the bridge/middle for leads. He plays a lot of leads in the in-between positions and it's a very unique sound. Most Strat players, if they use the in between positions, will generally hit positions 1/3/5 for leads. He's a very unique player.
@Trial21210 ай бұрын
Absolutely right!! He really knows how to use that 5 way switch!! I've seen him quite a few times live and I get caught just watching him 'change gears' on his strat!!! A true master!!

"Being underrated" means that his name doesn't come up often enough; it's not about what they say about him, it's about the fact that more people need to know about him.
