Come on!! Stop boasting. The Indian army had an advantage and then gave it away. Now they’re begging the Chinese to leave. How does that make sense. Indians never learn.

India gave away an upper hand of kailash range, whilst China has not moved an inch. It's fine to be patriotic but Chinese worms are still occupying strategic positions. Demchok, Depsang, Pangong Tso, spangur bulge, it is India that will have to cede into buffer zone whilst China has nothing to lose. Kailash range operation was a success but India gave away this very quickly China also has built a bridge on Pangong, by quickly learning their weak likes. China did lose 40 soldiers, but it is India's Territory that has got salami sliced. Modi has done brave action against China but has given up on 1000 sq km of land ( twice the size od mumbai)

Always love such videos. Great job However, Couple of suggestions from my side 1) make the intro more engaging with videos or graphics/animations if you can. 2) when talking about maps, zoom in and keep it focused on the area of interest. 3) maybe some basic clear and visible boundry markation can be done. 4)something like a stick or a laser pointer can also help! 5) accurate photos of equiptment being talked about should also be present. If possible. Cheers🍻

A much awaited talk which gave us a ring side view of this commendable operation whose speed, scale, surprise and consent strategic gain I imagine has never been accomplished ever anywhere else and is very difficult to repeat in that trecherous terrain. Good to hear it from the leader who made it possible. The significance of this action is not fathomable by our citizens. A big salute from me, one who has served here earlier with an Armour role and have intimate knowledge of the terrain and therefore an understanding of what an amazing advantage that consequently ensued. Great job by the professional Indian Army! Having said that, had the Chinese occupied those Kailash Range tops, they would have NEVER vacated them. They would have negotiated from the position of strength. Indian side blinked first. Such advantages are taken only once in a lifetime. 🤦‍♂There will be no next time, as the Chinese will be better prepared for the next time. India should not have feared the so-called vertical escalation, as we are much superior in mountain warfare (or any warfare), than the Chinese, thanks to our constant conflicts with Pakistan and even on the Myanmar border. This would go down as the biggest blunder of Modi era, in terms of tackling the Chinese. With all our superior armed forces (as compared to the 1962 era), China would have thought thrice before attacking us. Even if they attacked us, even with their superior numbers on paper, we would have still defeated them thanks to our well oiled war machinery. India's biggest problem is playing the good guy for too long. We need to shake that off, at least once in a hundred years, for a change. Even Panchtantra and Chanakya Niti teach us that. Ancient Indian wisdom. The disciplined general does not want to speak out of line, hence said "it's a step by step process" but in his heart he knows his team's hard work was wasted on the negotiating tables. Anyways, thanks Nitin for the nice front seat experience of the whole scenario.

Rezangla war was unnecessaryily created by the Indian side. Western commander Lt Gen. Daulat Singh clearly held the view that Chinese will not come to Chushul, as it was outside their claim line. But a decission was imposed on him and must have been pressured to wage war on Chinese from the Rezangla range, and it resulted in getting killed. one company of Indian soldiers wastefully. This was the sin conducted by the Indian side.

Thanks to SNG and Nitin Gokhale for this very interesting discussion with Lt General Savneet Singh who provided unique insights into the geographic features of the Kailash Range and the decision by the Indian military to surprise the Chinese side. As Gen. Savneet Singh observed, India gave a befitting reply to the Chinese side regarding their tendency to make unilateral territorial incursions on the border. Going by general news reports at the time, one was given to understand that the operation was conducted by an Indo Tibetan force that is inherently hardy in this Himalayan terrain, but it is now revealing to know that other Indian forces that were acclimatized to those conditions were also part of this operation.

Jai Hind Nitin Bhai.... Reference 30.00 to 30.30... what maturity is the Gen talking about....why sugarcoat even after so much of damages, so many lives lost in the most brutal manner ? Maturity and responsibility is for civilised Nations and civilised human beings. If anything, leadership in the our eastern neighbourhood is barbaric and the western ones are no less. Under such an environment, it is time we call a spade - 'a spade'...! Imagine after generations of evolutionary wisdom, if anything, the Chinese have only repeatedly demonstrated greed for resources, attempt to land-grab ( sea grab / territory grab ) incessantly, me - mine - myself approach, lack of respect for human values, animal instincts for basic survival that is hardly human. While I compliment the Indian leadership - Political and Military alike, we cannot let our guard down even in words - not especially with one who repeatedly wants to inflict pain on us.

The future wars are drone-based, as we are seeing in Ukraine. India must build lard tunnels in the Mountains, similar to China, to protect its strategic assets, including transport aircraft. Also, don't trust China as they tell one thing and do another thing, like some of our politicians. Army should take action based on facts rather than what someone in Delhi preaches (not learned from Nehru's era lessons). China would gain more by maintaining a good relationship with India and building trust rather than escalating the situation. Because of China's actions, India has only one option: getting closer to China's enemies.
