Yo tengo los dos modelos y dependiendo el set de esa semana es la guitarra que usaré, creo que ambas guitarras son buenas pero dependiendo la canción es la que debes usar, lo ideal cuando se toca con dos guitarras la Fender haga el acompañamientos y la Gretsch sea la guitarra Led. Bendiciones!

I have both models, and find them to much different animals. My Gretsch is the 5230 with BT Filtertrons, and while I find uses for all of it's tones, the Strat is just much more versatile, particulrly for clean tones.

Yes they are different but for my taste combine very well, the Gretsch added the sounds I was looking for that the strat couldn’t do. But versatility goes to the Strat for sure!
