This video is a remake of a “Straw Bale House Tour in 2017” that I did with Michael Judd. The house is his primary residence in Frederick, MD and is actually made out of straw bales and has various types of homemade plaster on the inside and outside. The beams, woodwork and some furniture in the house are all from fallen trees on their property that were knocked down during the remnants of Hurricane Sandy.
Michael is a permaculture enthusiast and runs several companies and projects related to permaculture. You can find out more about his work, projects, events, and training opportunities at ecologiadesign....
In the video Michael makes mention of his books. He has two books outlined below with Amazon links so you purchase them if you like.
Book: Edible Landscaping with a Permaculture Twist
Book: For the Love of Pawpaws
