20:46 Garp flattened Chinjao's drill, Luffy unflattened it, and Sai broke it. He is definitively up there. Now that the Monster Trio is becoming a Monster Quartet with the addition of Jinbe, if you want a Quartet for the Grand Fleet, it's Sai, Cavendish/Hakuba, Hajrudin and Bartolomeo (Just for his unbreakable barrier. He's not useless without it, he tank-ey enough, but the barrier is broken as shit, bringing him several tiers up)

My guess is that the Happo Navy is more like a mercenary organization than a pirate fleet (or atleast it used to be). So maybe the king of the Kano country simply hyred him to become his bodyguard for the Reverie, eather that or they were Privateers.

I want to say that the happou navy's contract to kano kingdom is the same as the warlord system. Kano probably was given the ability to pardon the happou navy and make them a pirate fleet under the kingdoms supervision. I'm just assuming though.

The status of the Happou Navy may be similar as the real life corsairs carrying a "letter of marque" from their respective country. Couldn't explain why the WG don't mind them, but I can't figure why Sai was at the Reverie :p

You can stop your shoulder from having issues by trying to build more strength in your shoulders. What is happening is your back and chest muscles are not balanced in strength so its causing your shoulder to pull out of place (kind of).

I can see the Happo Navy being something like 'contract pirates'. Instead of having a true Navy of citizens, the country has enough funds to hire pirates. Like the sell swords from game of thrones. Why had your own people die when you can pay others to fight and die instead? They're already experienced fighters and cost less than a standing military. The Navy and world government might allow it so long as they keep the pirates in check instead of them being out and causing trouble. Like the warlords on a different scale. The world government isn't exactly opposed to using pirates should a convenient situation arise. You have the higher ranked officers as citizens of the kingdom, but most of them can be expendable pirates.

Well the Reverie thing is pretty clear to me - Kano hires the Hapo Navy as bodyguards and can pay enough for the government to overlook it. Similar to Riku and the Tontata pirates as well the time Wapol was a pirate for a hot minute.Not to mention Germa were world known Mercenaries through the generations and were allowed to Reverie untill they were suppose to join Big Mom.

Im probably like, the 12th person to bring this up but, Hakkushoken (or however you spell it) is the Japanese name for the Chinese Martial arts and Bajiquan (Eight Extremeties Fist or Eight Impact Fist) and it's used a lot by bodyguards and thing of that nature. The shockwave thing comes from an actual phenomenon called "Qigong" which is basically the closest thing we'll get to Hamon in real life. By synching thier breathing the practictioner can perform a technique called "Fa-Jin" which is that shockwave technique we see. This can also be seen when Rob Lucci uses his 'Six King Gun'

Also, sai didnt grab chinjaos head, chinjao went to do his drill nail on sai because he was trying to stop baby 5 from shooting herself. Chinjao said it was shameful to try and stop an enemy from killing themselves. So sai used his ultimate leg move. And won. That's what bent his nail again. Then chinjao was so happy that he called off the arranged marriage and gave the name drill dragon to sais leg attack. And, also gave him the okay to marry whoever he wants. Then finished by giving him the happosai army. Then, lao g hits chinjao with his ultimate g attack which takes chinjao out! So sai fights lao g and takes him out. Phew!

I read some where that the neck thing was to stop fleas from biting the nobels face or something like that. Also back in that time period citizens tossed sewage pots (I forgot the proper name) so nobels would wear ridiculously tall heals so as not wade in it and the colar would stop some of the smell. The way I see it, the Hapo Navvy acts as a Privateer naval force for the Kano Kingdom. Essentially their own personal Marine force that isn't attached to the World Government, attacking pirate crews that threaten the kingdom while also acting as a safe harbor for the Hapo. The question remains: How do they get to and from the West Blue to the New World???

Historical clothing nerd here So basically the ruff is the evolution of the ruff just comes from the fact that most people wore white or off white undergarments under their clothing. These garments were washed frequently and usually used string closures to tie them off. As necklines changed from the 15th to the 16th century more and more of this white shirt became viewable. Aristocracy being aristocracy obviously had to make this fabric peeking out a pissing contest. Ruff folding was basically a profession all to itself and a well maintained ruff was a symbol of multiple things. 1:You had the money for vast swaths of white fabric. White fabric was difficult to maintain and so having a huge pile of it on your neck pointed to your wealth. 2:To keep them clean the ruff would need to be unpinned, These were generally not sewn through instead a master would need to pin the layers of fabric into intricate patterns. Once starching was introduced it allowed a level of stiffness to be added to the fabric as well. 3:You had no need to ever perform manual labor, in the annals of history plenty of inconvenient fashion was used to signify the lack of manual labor that one needed to perform. Foot binding in China. Long pinky finger nails in China as well. The 3 piece suit of the modern day. The poulaine in 13th century Europe. Giant sleeves. Ruffs are just another way for the wealthy to show off but it's one of the more memorable forms of it.
