- 3 egg yolks
- 70g sugar (30g + 40g)
- 55g vegetable oil (or any neutral flavour oil)
- 60g milk (I used soy)
- 90g cake flour
- 5g vanilla extract
- 15 - 29 strawberries
- 450g whipping cream (add sugar if you would like it sweetened)

UPDATE: I just tried to bake the cake and Oh my god Its sooooo good reminds me of angel cake. The fresh strawberries and cream its SOOOO yummy! I'm gonna make this again.

THANK YOU. Just made this yesterday, and I loved this recipe! I used almond milk rather than soy or regular and it came out nice. My only issue was it felt slightly dense after it finished cooling fully, but I think I either over or under beat my eggs, so be super careful during those steps. Otherwise an amazing recipe that the family loved, and I will be making again!

I don't know how some people get their cream so smooth, but I always found that smoothing cream onto a cake was also kind of whipping it, so it becomes over mixed. I try to under whip a little, and handle it as little as possible. Cake looks FAB. Chiffon is really difficult I've only managed to get it right the once. ❤❤

can u use a hand blender when blending the whites and can u use normal icing for the cake? thanks!

You can use a hand mixer (any tool or device with a whisk attachment) for the egg white but not too sure about an immersion blender since I’ve never tried! And yes you substitue the whipped team with a different frosting or icing you prefer, it might not be as airy or light tho ☺️

Hope she likes it! Heavy cream can form stiff peaks too! Another option is to make a butter cream frosting or cream cheese frosting (many videos on KZbin!) however it won’t be as light and airy

Thank you so much! And you may substitute with ap flour. However you’ll want to adjust the measurements and add some cornstarch (there are some recipes on google for substituting cake flour with ap flour that may be helpful ☺️)

Ahh for baking I highly suggest using a scale because it’s much more accurate, so I don’t use cups or tbsp 🥺
