I tried making this and the cake turned out so good only that I didn’t make enough! 😭 I had to make cake mic that was already made in a box to finish it, very sad but over all this was very fun to do

There are so many possible reasons for this. It’s happened mostly in the mixing. When mixing with the flour, you may have over-mixed the batter.

mine flattened when mixing 😢😢 but I had to mix it for long because the flour didn't mix well 😭 even though I added it in 2 portions... how can I fix this?? please

I guess the issue might be with your mixing technique. When making a cake, the mixing method is one of the most crucial factors that affect the batter’s consistency. I suggest watching the mixing part of the video a few more times and paying attention to the angle at which the spatula cuts into the batter and the direction of your hand movements. Try practicing by mimicking the technique.
