I'm pretty sure there was a Japanese makeup trend before lockdown called "drunk cheeks" or "hangover cheeks" or something like that which was basically and extreme version of this, heavy blush with dewy skin and eyes and minimal lips. Either way I don't mind renaming trends, I think it's mostly fun to hear the new names people come up with for stuff that's come back around.

I have that same snail mucin essence, but whenever I use it my sunscreen pills off my face its gross. It doesn't matter which sunscreen I use I still get pilling. I had to stop using the snail mucin in the morning.

I’m dying because I secretly feel like I start these trends. Lol. Every time I start wearing or doing something, 3-5 months later it’s a trend. I got sunburn and freckled and liked the way it looked, so I started faking it with blush in the same spots. Haha (Yes, I know we all feel this way about trends. Yes, I know it’s a coincidence. I’ll never get the blush on the nose trend-People literally cover their whole face and with that any potential natural redness with foundation and concealer… Just to add redness back in with blush.😄😄 On the cheeks and temples it’s cute, but on the nose, I personally think it looks weird… And I feel like most people wouldn’t want to accentuate their noses like that (especially because the same people often do some type of nose contour to make it slimmer/less prominent before they add blush), though everyone can of course do what they want.
