the use of chords are so cool, the melody is dmaj7 to gmaj7 but this gmaj7 is on the lower octave. HOWEVER, the rhythm guitar plays the gmaj7 higher in the same octave as the dmaj7 so it creates a good contrast of highs and lows. pretty cool
