This is my first bass cover so excuse the amateur eq and any poor audio/video sync.
I added a few more fills to the bassline so it's a bit more fun to play.

"Strawberry Switchblade were a Scottish new wave/pop duo formed in Glasgow in 1981 by Jill Bryson and Rose McDowall, best known for their song "Since Yesterday" from 1985, and their flamboyant clothing with bows and polka-dots."
"The band's first single, "Trees and Flowers", was released in July 1983 through 92 Happy Customers, an independent record label run by Will Sergeant from Echo & The Bunnymen, and sold over 10,000 copies. It was featured at number 47 in John Peel's 1983 Festive 50."

Thanks for your comment. I have not used tabs for a while. I can try to tab it out in the future, though I can't promise it any time soon. (Also this is not a 100% accurate cover as I have added some more fills) This was the first song I attempted on bass, and although it was slow going when I used to use tabs, I was greatly helped by training my ear. I suggest listening to songs at a low volume with the high frequencies turned down. Then, try to locate the notes you hear on the fretboard. Also, being able to play a few scales can help you in narrowing down what notes will be in song. You may have noticed that in this cover I move around a particular box. Also, looking at the fingering on cover videos can help when you're stuck, too. But the key skill is learning as many songs as you can, in increasing difficulty, using your ear. Good luck!

Hi. I didn't use tabs for this, and learned it by ear. As it's like first song I learnt there are a few differences between this and the original demo by Strawberry Switchblade, so it's not perfect.
