Or somebody far away lost their cat. It does happen. The pet runs out the door & somehow ends up far far away from home & the original owner is unable to find their pet. Anyway only God knows real back story for this cat. Im grateful the new owner is so loving and responsible.

Yeah he is passed out hard. But since he was a stray, he never had the opportunity to sleep like that in the streets. You know he appreciates being safe and secure so he can nap hard like that. Poor thing probably had days and days of sleep to catch up on. I was homeless, and lived on the subway system in NYC for months. I slept very little. The first thing I did when I had a place to sleep was sleep thru an entire day 😄

Outdoor cats are happier cats. They don't live as long but who cares. Cats that come indoors for cuddles when they please are living the dream. People who think Quantity is better than quality of life are objectively wrong and most humans live lives of quiet desperation indoors. Touch grass and chase rabbits!

Looks like a Turkish Van cat. He's got the right markings, amber - gold eyes, and high cheekbones. Not to mention the awesome temperament! If he shows any affinity for water, or even swimming, you might as well consider him a Van. If so, you are a very lucky girl! They are fantastic CATS!

There were two times when stray cats came to our door and asked to be let in. Both times we couldn’t but adopt them. I hope people will do something to ensure that no stray cats or dogs exist any more. No excess breeding, no buying kittens or puppies when one can adopt orphaned animals.
