When you watch the whole of kingdom you will understand that each group and every performance had a concept. This was under the no limit theme and they chose Deadpool as their concept. Other groups on the show used guns, swords and even knives. It is more than just choreography and music. It's more like a theatre performance. They used original raps, mashed up the 2 songs, blended choreography between original and new. It wasn't about covering blackpinks stage, choreography etc it was about creating a concept using 2 completely diferent songs which both have ddu ddu ddu in the lyrics and making a conceptual song to fit their theme. Glad you enjoyed it. Honestly when you watch the show you will understand it better

Think you missed the point with the guns, but otherwise good reaction. The guns were all about the Deadpool/Marvel theme, as were the 4th wall breaks, and the Antman reference, and Lee Know's crazy face, etc.

I’m totally new to kpop, it’s not really my cup of tea at all but Stray Kids just drew me in. I’ve had to learn new words like bias (thank you google). As a metal head who does not usually like rap my biases are of course Changbin and Han. 😆 I blame Maniac and Changbin’s magic hips. your reactions were good but I disagree with your assessment on the guns. I don't think it promotes anything about them that they looked cool because we all knew they were toy guns. The guns didn't look real. To me it look like a bunch of guys playing with Nerf guns They didn't want to copy exactly from the original because they needed to stand out from their original and by having the guns you weren't thinking of black pink while they were performing the song as much.

I think you are the very first reactors ive seen comment on the guns. I find them excessive as well but thats a viisceral teaction to seeing them waved around....like, do they have armorers on the set just in case? Are they all actual toys? It takes me out of the moment. I dont begrudge them the choices, its really the visuals that get me of pointing guns at each other while being playful and cheeky, as opposed to Freeze where it was intended to be serious. I also wonder if its not a big deal in Korea for that audience because guns are still illegal to own i believe. So gun violence isnt prevalent. My favorite episode is the GM/side effects. That's another gorgeous production.

Loved the reaction but don't necessarily agree with the things about the guns, it stopped the choreo from being too much like the original and also it has a dead pool theme who uses swords and guns so it was fitting with the theme they were going for. Not hating just wanting to give my take on it, can't wait for the rest of the kingdom reactions your going to love it.
