The first time I heard SKZ (Stray Kids) was with Back Door and I almost died. And really when I found out that God's Menu existed, I saw that they raised it so much that I was afraid that I wouldn't even like it, and I liked it so much that I joined the fandom and it's the only one I'm in. It’s also the only kpop fandom I’m in. My friend showed me gods menu a couple days ago to show me Felix because she had been going on about him and his deep voice for days. Anyway, I was immediately interested but I’ve never liked kpop and have stood by that. Well, since she showed me this song on my phone I’ve had KZbin shorts of stray kids and other songs come up in my recommended and yesterday I decided to just go through and listen to ALL of their songs and see what I think of them. Well, I’ve had stray kids playing on repeat non stop since yesterday morning (it’s now 11:30pm today) and I don’t plan on stopping listening to them anytime soon. I also still don’t at all like any other kpop group. I don’t like music in other languages in general and never had. Music is one of the main things me and my brother argue over because he loves music in Asian languages and I refuse to listen to anything unless it’s in English. He’s very happy that I’ve finally started listening to another language. He’s not so happy that it’s kpop because he also doesn’t like kpop but stray kids is amazing. My friend is also very happy and proud that she got me to like kpop even if it is only one group because for the last year or 2 she has been obsessed with kpop and I’ve always hated it. Gods menu is definitely my favourite stray kids song. Venom, freeze, red lights, stay, circus, maniac, and thunderous are also all really good. They have so many songs though and I like almost all of them.

I feel ya on the Stray Kids. I'm a 50+ yr old Black woman and this God's Menu was my into Stray Kids and I love them! They need to be talked about more because their talent is amazing. They write their own music and 3 of them are the choreography team. They are slowing coming into the US market and appeared on Colbert about a week or so ago. You might want to try Wolfgang and Thunderous & Freeze. Make sure you are sitting down when you do lol.

Their next two main singles after God’s Menu and between Maniac are Back Door and Thunderous. You should also check out their live performances from MAMA 2020 and 2021 and also their Kingdom performances. They’ve made a name for themselves as performance kings. Whole package.

Loved your reaction, go back to their first release DISTRICT 9 they've been the underdogs for awhile now but they did a show last year called Kingdom legendary war which they won and they are no longer the underdog they are snapping at the heels of everyone and people finally have took notice of them. They are incredible and they have two very famous fans one is Hugh Jackman the other Ryan Reynolds.

If you liked Maniac and God's Menu and want them to be 3 for 3 listen to Thunderous (Sorikun), Easy, and Any those will fit the vibe that the first two give. For some different styles that they do: Levanter, Back Door, Ex, FAM, Scars, Christmas Eve-L, 25 to 25, TA, The Tortoise and the hare, and Neverending Story/Story that won't end (this was an OST for a k-drama and is beautiful--fun fact one of the main rappers is the one who hits and holds the high note in this song). Fun songs Get Cool, Awkward Silence, Airplane, N/S, Boxer (I will always suggest watching the street videos, or any self-shot videos that they do, though the performance video for Boxer is really good too). If you want to see good live performances check out their videos on the First Take they have done 3 songs to date I believe. Also SKZ-Player and SKZ-RECORD on their YT channel are videos/recordings of unit or solo projects that they wanted to experiment with. If you want more of their main rap line search for 3racha performances (2018 and newer would be after their debut) and they have some good ones. Though they all can rap, sing, and dance these are the ones that technically started the group and are the main writers and producers of the groups discography as well. I hope this helps with coming up with future songs to listen to, wanted to make a smaller list as they have a large discography.

So Oddinary, SKZ 2021, Christmas Evel, Scars, Noeasy, Mixtape: OH, All In, In Life, Go Live, and TOP will take you back til Summer 2020. This includes their Japaneses releases as well. The earlier ones are just as good and I would suggest checking them out as well. By going backwards you are really able to notice how they progressed the longer they have been making music. straykids.jype.com/Default/DiscographyList?PgIndex=2&AmSeq=1 I would watch the music videos and color coded lyrics and to break it up would also suggest some fun videos to get to know the boys. Lavern (kzbin.infovideos) makes great videos about skz. Also their YT page has a TON of content on it, they provide a lot of content for their fans. SKZ-Record and SKZ-PLayer are usually solo or unit projects/covers that they wanted to explore or try. Also, search their Kingdom performances as they are really good (available to watch on viki or dramacool). SKZ2021 and SKZ2020 are rerecordings of older songs as they originally started out with 9 members and now are 8, so this is just the rearrangements for 8 vs 9 of older songs. Both were digital release only. We are hoping for a digital release of the SKZ-Record/SKZ-Player album they are saying we will get this year. I've included the SKZ and 3racha channel links. 3racha is Bang Chan (CB97), Changbin (Spear B), and Han (J.One); they are the basis of SKZ and write and produce pretty much all of their songs. The Mixtapes (#1-5) are reworkings of 3racha songs for all the members they switch back to 3racha names for them in SKZ2021. After that I suggest The Tortoise and The Hare, I believe it will blow your mind and then just to witness our boys' versatility you should listen Neverending Story or Winter Falls. If you would like to watch some live performances I suggest God's Ddu Ddu Ddu from Kingdom Legendary War, MAMA 2020 or MAMA 2021 stage performances. If by chance you are in a mood for rock, Awaken, Slump or Lonely Street is your drug. In October 2019, Kim Woojin left the band. Trivia: The Stray Kids TV series was created in partnership with Mnet. They officially debuted in March of 2018 with the mini album I Am Not. Their new album called Maxident was released on October 7, 2022. They also released a song called Case 143 in November of 2022. It has, thus far, received more than 73 million views on KZbin. Yooo, I'm so new to Stray Kids, like just a month into staning them and I don't regret it. Like I went all it, doing a bunch of research on the members and going through their songs. I decided to give them a try cause I didn't feel for BTS like most people do(dont get my wrong their talented and I watch crack videos of them being themselves to relax me when I have an off day, cause they are fun, but I didn't connect you know). However, after hearing Stray Kids songs, Lovestay, Victory Song, Secret and Side Effects, I fell hard. Lovestay is literally for us Stays and Secret Secret is so beautiful, it made me tear up. I dont this I can pick favorite songs, cause they are all amazing. They are all so talented and Chan (the leader) is my serious bias. This boy hand picked the others, has over 100 song writing credits and is so sweet, it's not even funny. They are coming out with some serious bangers, I listen to side effects and victory song daily. They deserve the recognition I welcome all new Stays.

It's only 9.50am on a Sunday morning for me and I just listened to God's Menu with you. Good morning to you too! 😁 They self produce and write their own lyrics and music and create their own sound , that's uniquely Stray Kids, I love every single note and bar of it. 🔥 Not sure what are your preferences in music genres but Skz have a huge variety in their discography and there is something for everyone. If you are interested in some of their earlier music, their pre debut song is called Hellevator and their debut song is District 9. Both are iconic Skz tracks, and some of my Fav Rap bars are in District9. Another of my all time favs is a song called Easy. There are so many more. If you like Anime, they did the opening "Top" and ending "Slump" to the Anime "The Tower of God" as well. Top has an awsome MV, for Slump my Fav version is the First Take Version because you can see each member sing and is completely different from everything you have listened to so far. The producing unit in Skz is called 3Racha and they have some tracks as well. One of my favs is "We Go" and there are some really cool live performances on KZbin. I will stop now to save you some time because I speak for hours. Sorry about the novel here. This was so much fun! LOL you need to see F Hero and Milli's latest MV featuring Changbin from the Stray Kids (Mirror, Mirror). Changbin's part is sooo fast and so amazing! And I was very impressed with F Hero and Milli. The end of the video leads to Back Door, which is another banger (of course). Try Miroh and Side Effects from their earlier discography. So excellent.
