They represented different emotions. They were the children's emotions. And they were at war to be the dominant emotion in their heads during the concert. You noticed the writing disappear when that emotion got defeated & absorbed into the winners side. The one that won in the end was pleasure. They had bits of the other emotions combined in their forces, but they were a positive emotion at the end. The children took joy in their concert at the end. The giant figures that were their fears & anxiety, those were gone at the end when they got absorbed in the music & had fun with the music. And the older lore of SKZ kinda turned into everything in Back Door. Through the full story, we followed them as they made choices, rebelled, & explored different paths. But when they finally felt that they were in control, they discovered the way to open every door. In Back Door, you see the white space that is full of moving white doors. Those are alternate realities, and times. Those are other choices, and paths. They found how to open them & now can go everywhere. So we will see multiples of them (Like in Circus and The Sound) or just them exploring some thing they chose. Every path is connected, because it is all them. They have a multiverse at their command.

This song is for me is the best yet! I found the ending really cute. I think stray kids were the kids inner self of how it feels to perform under pressure. I saw it as them providing support to the kids to give it their best and just let the music guide them through the performance. Seungmin really shined! I loved the last chorus the best

There are movie & anime references One Piece and the Dark Knight on purpose, they are big movie/anime fans. If you watch their behind the scenes vids they explain the meaning: The 4 scenes represent 4 emotions within the child (anger -pirates,, happiness-clowns, sorrow-white scenes, joy/pleasure-brown/black motif)Its similar to Inside Out (they reference the animated movie inside out as an example in behind the scenes). The child is battling stage fright aka the monsters that fade away. Basically the message is to just let all those other emotions disappear and enjoy yourself aka Joy/pleasure winning over the others emotions and the other emotions disappearing. There is a lot of play on korean words & Chinese characters in the language in the lyrics of this one. (Hence the Rock & Lock play on words) If you watch YT team Andy & Jas they speak fluent korean and they do an amazing breakdown of their lyrics, the word play & korean cultural references which helps A Lot!!! Bang Chan is the genius behind most of their beats, I prefer to refer to him as a modern day Mozart cause he blends genres effortlessly and finds beats you never new existed. Had to smile at the end. The teaser explains some of the ... storyline. The hovering beings are all the negative bs they experienced at the beginning of their journey (the 8 kids) and the way the beings efforts simply disintegrate trying to impact them today ... we don't give a fa.... sentiment. It's a wonderful high energy rock song, I can not wait to see how this translates to their live concert stages. Woozer.

Always look forward to your honest and indepth reviews🔥🙏...the SKZ lore is veryyyyyy deep and it is indeed a continuation from their debut(district 9) until now...the live performance of this is amazing!! I think this is definitely a song meant for big live stages...I like the little things in the song like the violins at 2:02 and the electric guitar at the end

I suggest watching the Rock Star Docuseries then you'll understand the representation better. Joy, sorrow, sadness, and happiness/ pleasure, basically they chose to be happy and be free spirited.
