Stray kids were actually called “flops of JYP” because back then they weren’t famous in Korea Even their fandom back then was a small one complained to now and it mostly only consisted of an international fan base They weren’t famous in Korea And Korean netizens used to consider their music as ONLY “noise” back then but international fan base really knew what stray kids were and how relatable and good their songs were But sadly, it never used to garner the attention of the Korean population Until their song Miroh. Most people say that Stray kids were recognized by Gods Menu which yes they were… but that was where they got majority to like them in Korea and Many more overseas But I’d say, the first song that actually took people, especially the k-netizens was Miroh It even gave SKZ their very first career win Then stray kids continued for a year and eventually even lost a member due to bullying allegations But they stepped up their game with GODS MENU This was then noticed by not only k-netizens once again… but by other fandoms as well After which they released even more BANGER songs than before Like Backdoor, which was also the ONLY K-POP song to be listed in the TOP 10 of the time magazine for “Best 2020 songs” That was a hugeeee achievement And then their success never stopped! And look where they are right now 🥹🥹 From being called JYPs flops to becoming the FIRST JYP artists to sell over 1million albums Stray kids have the best discography in K-pop in my opinion It was JUST that they had a hard time getting recognized And now some people from different fandoms also say the same With stray kids previous songs, like those from their debut albums as being the most relatable and comforting songs They really have reached a long way and made their name in the industry ❤️❤️ They’ll always be STAYS #1✨
