LiSA is basically a legend in Japan! She sang multiple OSTs for Demon Slayer which is a very famous anime. SKZ (especially Chan) are huge fans of her so this is basically a dream collab for them. Channie said he wrote this song based on real life experiences for him and the Kids. Which makes it mean so much more. The respect I have for these men will never be able to be explained. There is no one like Skz. Period. Chan said "the lyrics are based on my own experiences, but as i was writing them, i thought that many others might have gone through similar experiences. ive endured a lot myself, and i believe there are people out there the are still enduring hardships. The lyrics are meant to convey the message, 'i understand what you're going through"

LiSa is a jewel of Japan's music scene! It's an honour that stray kids managed to catch her as feature because they're her fans too and she's genuinely such a legend in the Japanese music scene! I loved how good their collab was as someone who grew up on her songs.

I enjoyed your surprised reaction. I have been impressed with LiSA vocals since the Sword Art Online series and Demon Slayer. Fellow STAY Aiana shared some interesting thoughts on the "paper bag heads": If you pay attention to the lyrics ("I'm tossing, turning in my bed. The voices in my head again"; "Evil thoughts taking over, I'm let it go"), you'll see that, even though the paper bag people can be the ones on the internet, being judgmental and aggressive or something like that. It's more possible than not, that these "people" are actually their intrusive thoughts saying they're not good enough. Since these lyrics is heavily based on Chan's experience as a trainee for 7 years, so LiSA could represents someone way more seasoned that has passed through it all already and not only survived, but thrived. - So let's go to the signs: - ❗. Ideas, creativity (but on an overwhelmingly level) - ❓. Doubts and not believing in yourself - ➕. Trying to see the bright light and staying positive. - ➖. All the depressive and negative thoughts, wanting to give up. Throughout the MV, Chan is the one that is constantly chased, suffocated & being captive by the creatures. The other ones are haunted by them, but none as heavily as him. At the end we see Lee Know, Changbin leading the others, all fighting the bad paper bag creatures (evil thoughts), tearing through the wall, before they finally reunited. This could represents how Stray Kids (the members) saved Chan. Always together. I am always impressed by word play in lyrics and they are using visual imageries to do the same. As we all know that Chan has fought hard to keep his members safe and together, time and time again, even taking hits himself but we see how they equally would charge in to save and protect him also.

Thank you Nigel. I agree. There isn't really may artist that you will love all their songs. You may like them and appreciate them but there will be some you love more than the others. But this song is a masterpiece. it checks all those boxes I love. To me this shouldn't be a feature with Lisa but more of a collaboration. Lisa's vocals fit so well with the boys and the song, the melodies, the beats, the sounds the vocal and the rap 100% straight hit to my Stay soul.

Since the song his about Chan story this are some of the lyrics I thought might be related to him 'give up my youth for my future' it show how Chan had to leave everything ( friend, family and home) and I guess that also includes his 'youth' because he spent most of his childhood training to become an idol which never really allowed him to experience life in most others did when they were his age. Also the lyrics ' I know it going to be lonely but everyone keeps turning me down countless new surroundings' new surroundings means like he left Australia and came to Korea which is all so new to him. And him knowing it lonely could because he had a long training time most of his friends has debut and left but he his still in the same place and alone and make thing worst no one was there to help him during those hardship. So this really his about Chan 😢😢. But this just shows how of a strong person he his

My thoughts on the paper bags. So the whole song/mv is suppose to be a representation of trainees struggles to become idols, specifically Bang Chans. He was a trainee for 7 yrs and saw many trainees let go or become idols. My thoughts are the + is a trainee that becomes an idol or a good candidate, - is a trainee that is let go, released, fired, and the ? are trainees that are a maybe.
