So about the makeup thing, of course you guys already understand that that's just part of the culture/kpop industry, but also you'll notice it at some moments more than others because it also has to do with the concept they are going for. For example, in the Maniac mv, hyunjin (the guy that you guys pointed out) has quite heavy makeup because it suits the concept of the music video and song, kind of a dark/strange/crazy concept😊

Fun fact Han Jisung was called an all rounder member even before debut by the judges that were responsible for confirming the members that will debut. Bangchan actually got trusted enough by JYP that he could pick his own members, made the logo and the group name. And he of course is a big part in their songs. They make their songs from start to finish, they sometimes collab with other producers but one 3racha member is always in the credits of their songs. There is no song of theirs that skz isn't in the credits.

I understand your point about makeup, but you also have to understand that South Korea has quite strict beauty standards. Yes, America and Europe also have their own beauty standards, but here artists have the right to choose whether to fit in or not. Idols don't have this choice, because in K-pop, they can be cancelled for any little thing.

Stray Kids actually don’t have roles! That’s another unique thing about them. They all rap sing and dance, so their company just dropped all of their labels . 3RACHA composes, produces, arranges and writes their own music. Their label is JYP Entertainment. Han and Seungmin are not really fluent. They are good but not fluent. Sometimes, they struggle. Watch Seungmins 2 kids' song when he asked to answer in English. He struggled for a short time then slowly got into a flow but you could see him searching for words. Felix and Bang Chan are considered fluent in Korean as they can hold and maintain conversations in Korean without pause.

The definition of fluency is “Being able to speak a language very well”. In this instance, they do. They both literally lived in English speaking countries for 3+ years. English isn’t a hard language. Seungmin and HAN can hold a conversation, just because they pause doesn’t make them less fluent. Felix pauses in Korean every now and then. Does that make him less fluent? Seungmin and HAN are basically fluent in English. They can speak very well (as used in the definition) and they understand it perfectly.🙃

Han lived in Malaysia and went to the Fairview International school where he eventually dropped out and was home schooled. He has said that he basically taught himself English but later had a tutor at the company. Just because they speak excellent English on stage doesn't mean they are fluent. It is practised. Even Binnie, Lee Know and I.N. speak well on stage because it is practice. I feel that Hyunjin is probably more fluent in English as he is majority in it at Uni. The definition of fluency is the ability to read, write and speak a language quickly and accurately. Which both Han and Seungmin can struggle with. I do believe their fluency would improve if they had more opportunity to converse in English. @@phylisbrown1181 Like I said, Chan himself says that HAN and SM are basically fluent. We don’t know them off stage, you don’t know if they speak English freely while talking amongst themselves. And of course it’s practice, how do you think Felix learned Korean? If you watch SKZ LOGS you can see SM, HAN and Hyunjin practicing English and they sound amazing. Hyunjin is good at English, but he’s not better than SM atleast in grammar tense. If you watch SKZ reactors, they say that they can’t believe SM isn’t American because of how good his English is. (Redemption 46 Maze Of Memories reaction) If we’re going by your logic, neither Felix or Chan is fluent in English because they still make mistakes in Korean as seen in Finding SKZ, SKZ Code and other reality shows. So my conclusion is that nobody is perfect. I still make mistakes in my native language, that doesn’t mean I’m not fluent. In order to be fluent you have to make some kind of mistakes.

On the comment about makeup, many male artists, especially rockers, in the US wear make up. It may be really noticeable, like black eyeliner with some rockers or very subtle, but it’s definitely there. What’s really fun is that every time you watch these MVs you find something new just like you put together with the bird. It’s really fun to find new things each time. In case 143, they reference the shining in the beginning from the wood they are looking through to the carpet in the shining. It’s amazing. Slash is in the Deadpool 3 OST ❤ The more you hear and watch, the more you love them. They have incredible talent!

So for the subunits you have 3racha(previous rap unit before skz) the production unit is Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, Danceracha Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix, and then there is vocalracha is Seungmin and I.N. At the end the are giving the ASL signs for I love you. I highly recommend listening to some of 3racha's stuff. Chan doesn't really rap much anymore but something that is more recent from 3racha is the song 3racha and Zone but some older stuff before SKZ is Runners high, Matroshyka, and scene stealers. You can find the lyric videos on youtube. Also for SKZ check out Maze of memories and Miroh if you haven't already.

Glad you caught the ‘alter ego’ idea in Case 143. The Stray Kids lore is all about identity. They have the original versions of themselves as well as clones/alternate dimension versions of themselves. They sometimes both show up in videos- like the Circus MV. They travel between worlds/dimensions within their Megaverse.

Beats, lyrics and production all them One song came from JYP himself just the track .. lyrics on that one again skz They had a song camp with Puth they sang and had feedback for the track but it was produced by Puth and his team. I know other comments already explained concepts and why idols put on makeup but even if it weren't for a music video what's wrong with it? Also the idea of relating everything that is feminine with something bad or negative is such a misogynistic way of looking at life.
