Sadly Chan’s Room is on hiatus for now. I don’t think we know if it was purely a personal choice by Chan, a demand by the company, or a combo of both. When it stopped they were busy prepping for 5 Star, and also a lot of people were taking things that Chan said out of context/application to start fan wars around that time, so there are quite a few reasons why it could’ve stopped, but I don’t think an official announcement was ever made or anything. That being said, it was never said that it was over FOREVER, so everyone’s just hoping that it’ll come back some time in the future, myself included!

Chan said at a fan meeting recently that... "I'd love to bring Chan's Room back but the company said no." Therefore, it will not be coming back anytime in the near future. At the moment, he seems to have taken to posting videos on either the SKZ main account or his personal Instagram account all the members created recently as a surprise for stays. With the exception of Minsung (Lee Know/Han Jisung) who did not make them. Also please don't be one of those stays who send protest trucks to JYPE saying 'bring back Chan's Room' like Chan said, "I hate people who think they are helping but they actually aren't" in a subtle way telling people to just let it go for now. He might find a way to bring Chan's Room back in the future but at the moment there is nothing anyone can do to bring it back. Not without causing him a lot of trouble. I'm not saying this to you (the person who wrote the comment above) but to anyone who reads this comment and decides to send the trucks to JYPE. Because it's happened quite a lot over the past few months for some reason. Also, stop blaming JYP for everything that goes wrong, JYP is not in charge of JYPE anymore. He gave the CEO position to someone else who is running things atm. JYP still owns the company but decisions and stuff that are made on a daily basis are all on the new CEO.

the part that Han rap is the second half of the song that Chan and Changbin made goofily "Can live without Chanbin" (Chan's room ep 95) and Chan finished this song with adlib and high note (I forgot what ep was it, you can search "Can't live without Changbin full version). And Lee Know asked Chan to do "Kkukchong EDM", a very chaotic, goofy EDM.

some little explanations as we go! yes, sadly chan stopped doing chan's room lives on youtube. i'm fairly certain it had to do with one off-hand comment he made about a rookie idol group, people figured he was talking about them and went and bad-mouthed that group, then the fans of that group and others went on to defend them and harshly criticize chan for "sending hate" to a smaller/newer group. after the backlash it's believed that jype told chan he can't do regular lives anymore. second!! jisung's eye was itching and then kept doing it because he wanted a reaction from chan :p (something you might've missed... chan said "next song is..." and changbin wanted to make a joke so he said "next song (gok-i) is... beef (sogogi)" and jisung said it at the same time so they hi-fived 🤡) the backstory behind "can't live without seo changbin" is that in episode 95 of chan's room they wanted to show stay how they make songs. chan had made the melody and was going to make a vocal guide version for the eventual lyrics, and then changbin suggested some lyrics 😂😂

Also Chan didn't make the comment about any one particular rookie idol group, he made a comment about how 5th generation (2022+) idol groups apparently don't have any respect for senior idol groups. It was mainly how a lot of new idol groups don't greet other idol groups (like SKZ), even though they are greeted by them. Such as SKZ greeted new idol groups and the new idol groups didn't greet them back and ignored them. And Chan said something about how it seems as if new idol groups don't care about respect. But 'fans' took his words the wrong way and thought he was referring to ONE specific girl idol group (IVE) and made things go nuts and it spun out of hand, starting fan wars. Chan was made to apologize for something he really shouldn't have apologized for bc he did nothing wrong. Wanting your fellow idol groups to respect eachother and have basic MANNERS is NOT something you need to apologize for wanting. Chan stated he was NOT talking about this particular idol group people thought he was talking about before. He never said/stated any names, just had a generalized comment about no one in particular. Fans blew the matter out of proportion. As a consequence of this, no more Chan's Room.

Water I am pretty sure the pants are from the ISAAC events. Chan asked who first mentioned the walrus because, if you watch the whole episode, Changbin is the one who brought it up when he said his sister compared him to a walrus statue at the beach. The walrus is cute in comparison to the elephant seal, which is what Chan originally translated it as.
