Two tiny kittens, Bunny and Otter, were rescued from the streets after their mother abandoned them. The little ones were born with limb abnormalities, meaning some of their legs never developed. Despite their challenges, the kittens were given a second chance at life.

30 yrs ago, I had a litter with one kitten missing both back legs. My vet and I decided to euthanize at 5 days. Mother cats just sort of flop down in the middle of the kitten pile to nurse. Normal kittens would wiggle out but this one couldn't. We couldn't imagine how it would walk or use a litterbox. But seeing what is being done with deformed cats today, I totally regret that decision. That said, its much easier for any four legged mammal to survive missing front legs, than back legs. I've not seen a cat video like this with deformed or missing back legs. But seeimg what cats can do, I wish we had let him have a chance to try.
