@chewbaccawakka Late reply but indeed , the Esheep or Sheep.exe was based on this cartoon. It was made for commercial porpuses featuring the lil sheep on the video, it was meant to be sold but someone found a way around it and made it a free software, the same happened to orange.exe. I never knew all the background story of this lil sheep but now im a great fan of both the animation and the sheep.exe.

Hey, I've become very interested in Stray Sheep and some of the history behind it lately. I'm really surprised to see this short in English, I thought it was Japan only media. I know this is from over a decade ago, but do you happen to remember what the source on this was? Was there an official English dub because this is pretty well done. If it is fan made then they did well. I just wish I could find more info on this easily online.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I first saw Stray Sheep as the little Windows desktop app and eventually found out it was more than that. The source for this is a DVD included in the 2003 book from Tatsutoshi Nomura called Stray Sheep and published by Tokyo Pop. The included animated shorts are: 1 The Great Star-Cat 2. The Flower and the Bee 3. The Penguin Who Could Fly 4. The Bunny and His Clock 5. The Railroad Circus 6. Snow Sheep. I posted this one back when KZbin was a bit of a free-for-all, but didn't post the rest as I didn't want to push my luck. Maybe I should have. Hope that helps!

@@TheDopeNessMonster This helps immensely, I have literally been searching deep in a rabbit hole of Stray Sheep for like my whole afternoon and I pretty much came to the conclusion that this had to come with the book. HOWEVER. There's like 3 books that came out around then that were published by Tokyo Pop? And Idk if all of them came with a DVD but assuming this is the 2001 anime then there are 12 episodes in total so at least one of the other books should have a DVD to have all 12? Could be wrong, I am grateful for you confirming.
