Oh! I love this speedpaint. It makes me sad because I have feral cats outside and the animal shelter won't help us find homes. They tell us not to feed the cats and they'll go away. However there are baby kittens. We've already lost one but we're determined to save the rest from the bitter cold winter.

I read a webpage and it said that 90 percent of the cats that go to pounds get put down! It said that almost all the kittens get adopted though. :3 happy for the kittens... and how could they put down innocent cats!!!! If they're not declawed they'd be better off in the wild then dead!

this reminds me of when i found my cat, strayed out when we moved into my old house, we gave her some food, we see if she belonged to any one, she didnt we took her in and then we got an ew cat later, the new cat had chased her away, i miss her dearly much. i havent seen her over 2 years now.

This makes me think of Laurel. My mother and I were driving to Winn Dixie on a Sunday when we saw a gray shape drt across the road, running in circles. My mom pulled over with the rest of the cars, and we saw that it was, in fact, a small gray tabby kitten. She was in pain, and her little paws and nose were bleeding something awful. Since it was sunday, no vets were open. We took her home and my mom called the emergency animal rescue. I named her Laurel, and I'm glad I saved her from death. :')

My family and I have a great cat. She is old but acts like a kitten. Her name is Midnight. My mom got her when she was just a kitten. A woman came in to the animal shelter with her. the woman was allergic to fur and cats but she loved animals and it was October. My mom asked her boss if she could keep the kitten. her boss agreed and now we have a 24 year old cat. my mom got her in 1990.

Faith Camacho My mom used to work for the Humane Society and it was in October. A woman came in with Midnight and the company was gonna put her down until my mom asked her supervisor if she could keep her. her super said yes. she had ear mites and her lower jaw was broken.

Poor thing, he was really skin and bones when my father went on a trip from Florida to Connecticut to bring him back down to us. I really don't know how he made it, but he did. So don't give up hope! reminds me of my stray cat bluester.my parents woldent let me keep him, cuz there cat haters.but i kept him outside and fed him and he was so sweet!.but he wasent my cat,he lived with someone else with cats.so we olny saw him like, twice a month and he would stay for couple days.but then he got really sick....and i broke my heart to see him suffer.so one day my dad turned on his car and my cat was under the car sleeping and he hit him.my dad hit him and broke his leg.oh goodbye bluester.........

Looks like my cat, we picked her up from the cat shelter the morning before she was due to be put down... When her cage was open and she walked into our house for the first time her eyes went round and she immediately rubbed her face on everything while running up and down the stairs
