▼Synopsis
An adaptation of Shōtarō Ikenami's short story "Faces," which depicts human relationships bound by strange fate. In the end, Kokingo defeats the samurai targeting Hanzo for revenge. However, the lives of the two men, divided between happiness and misfortune over 30 ryo, are vividly portrayed with deep human emotion. Umenosuke Nakamura delivers a compelling performance as Kokingo, a ronin who has lost his purpose in life.
