My favorite part of the movie is when bug says to the narrator dog “stop saying, he said” and the narrator dog said “he replied.” I know it’s so simple and probably stupid that I find it that hilarious but it KILLED ME the first time I saw it. And the, Damn….. I really thought I was gunna hook those keys. 😂😂

What dbag Doug has against this poor dog is his own fault, he can’t take accountability for his cheating ass. He blames this dog for ruining his life but without the dog his cheating would come out anyway, and that’s what makes me hate him even more. That and I just hate people who do these kind of things to their dogs. Especially the leaving in car and the abandoning parts.

Loved your reactions to this film. I saw it twice in the movie theater (the drive home from the theater the second time was a bit scary as my brakes started to stop working but I made it home safe! now I’ll have a memory attached to this film too). As a dog person I really loved the film too. The crowd, especially the second one absolutely was laughing out loud through the whole thing. Sure it’s raunchy, vulgar, and crass to the max but also still hilarious and had a surprising amount of heart in it. PS I couldn’t believe my theater had a family with kids aged 8-12 or so and they actually stayed through the whole thing ! I was surprised LOL

I say one of my favorite parts of the movie was the shrooms scene. Where bug tells the eagle to go fuck himself after Dolores the couch dumps him, and the eagle says with subtitles, I can, I have both parts.

Unfortunately, it won’t get a sequel as it bombed at the box office It only made $35 million off its $46 million budget which is unfortunate because as a dog person I thought it was hilarious and the heart in it really surprised me.
