Kiri should get a wall sprint because he clearly can climb fast from what we saw with Gigantomachia. But maybe only it should only be in his hardening mode or maybe not.

Two words, tracking skills The biggest thing about top tiers is their tracking is insane for what they can do, examples are twice toga and iida, while I think kiri is great the problem is his tracking is super ass when it comes to hitting someone, also some things to note as well is his special action now can get countered super hard by a lot of things Edit also a buff I would like is normal attack speed increase and just tracking like I said beforehand

Not only that, his attack animations are slow and can be easily dodge lol with the exception of gamma (at higher levels - cuz lower levels so easy to dodge too). Tracking on alpha I think seems alright, its just that its so damn tough to change directions unlike with Toga's overpowered beta where you can zippity zip zap all around and it has faster animations too.

As a Kiri main, he's still good lol he just has to play different from other characters. If you can rat around your opponents or bait them into getting close you can destroy them with ease. A lot of players too get way too confident when they see Kiri and rush in only to get counter hit and then be unable to escape the Kiri barrage lol

if you jump melee and then hold alpha you will carry a down enemy like dabi for example so you can finish quick especially if you have a level 9 alpha. also works great for guardbroken enemies, ads a additional 67 damage to the almost 200 level 9 alpha and can one shot a little under full health rapid, a great suprise attack and forces 1v1

Fun fact lvling beta first is no longer viable bc it's was nerfed to hell and alpha is actually his most damaging move these days and also beta is easily dodged and alpha into wake up gamma is about 400 dmg also awesome vid

Kiri is my man!!!😎 To me he is still a good character despite his flaws and counters. I honestly have the most fun playing him in games and he still has his own style to master. Keep up the videos and thanks for showing he still can put up a fight.👍

Instead of characters being able to knock him out of his special action it should of been he has less damage reduction on his special action because know it’s basically useless unless I’m playing him wrong I haven’t really been playing him that much since his nerf

Some advice for Kiri: Don’t max his beta first. Instead, he’s one of the few characters you should go 4/4/4 first. His alpha becomes a viable movement option at 4, his gamma gains most of its range at 4, and his beta is just way better at 4. Getting to 9 is great, but having any of your skills below 4 makes them suck, and you kinda need all of his skills. After that? Kinda depends on what you want to max. I go gamma for the range and damage, but alpha is also really good for movement. TLDR: go 4/4/4 for kiri leveling, since you cycle skills constantly.

I've never once played kiri first time I played him i was in unranked I 1v3ed a known and decent ace a gold 4 and gold 1 no he doesn't need a buff I think he deserves one like buffing his special action and making it so he doesn't get kicked out 24/7 but he doesn't "NEED" one

The nerf to a special action was so unnecessary, I would rather them reduce the special action time or damage reduction while using it, now he can just get knocked out of by single Dabi trap.

I used to main him, but it's just not the same after the special action nerf, he can get beamed down like a dog, his special action gets disabled by literally anything, even a slight step on a shigaraki alpha disables it. Its just fking trash lol, the have to revert that change, he was already fine with the beta damage nerf, why tf did they nerf his special action for no reason.

the char is still extremely overpowered, only reason he's appearing less in games its because of the nerf, and not cuase it makes him bad, but for the fact that everyone played him like a ret4rded knowing you can ignore everything and receive only 10% damage, now that he loses it sometimes people dont know how to play him but he literrally ignores the whole game with all of his move's armor, does extremely high damage (specially gamma) and the fact that beta to gamma is guaranteed is just ridiculous, its a 210 damage guaranteed hit, half of the cast cant ressist those two hits together. and for everyone that excuse the char saying he has "no movility" just watch this video, you literally almost caught a Iida with his active gamma, and can climb a building with a single B, if thats no movility then i want no movility with momo please

Idk if this is satire but Kiri is faaaar from overpowered lol. An experienced player can bait all three beta punches and beam him down on the end lag of the animation(Especially on console and the busted aim assist). His gamma is the only “broken” thing because of his vertical hitbox but I don’t see that as much of an issue for a bruiser like character. Also Kiri absolutely can NOT catch a Iida, in the video the iida was already getting chased but he stopped and used the gamma which allowed Stray to close the gap. All in all Kiri is an absolute noob stomper, he’ll get you through the ranks fine but the special action nerf did sting a bit.

He's a melee and he's doing what he's meant to do if you are not comfortable with his close range tank style, then you can stick with iida's close range speed style
