Watching GM level bullet chess is interesting because it shows advanced concepts in quick succession and how certain troop formations engage with and destroy enemy troop formations. As a beginner learning chess for the first time, I struggled to understand why a move was bad when watching lower level games, but GM bullet is fascinating because it shows you why a move is bad in near real time almost as if the pieces were fighting in real life. Truly inspiring stuff

Appetizer: look Kramnik is not accusing Hikaru of cheating. What he’s actually doing is projecting. Stats have proven that not only are the streaks possible they are likely by many many GMs. Kramnik is saying that “I former world chess champion could never do this. It’s impossible for me.” Main course: Petition for Fide to reduce Kramnik’s rating. His repeated open admission that he’s incapable of doing something commonly possible for his peers deserves a reduction in rank.

Honestly, even if you were cheating here, I would be impressed. How could you discuss in the stream, commentate and explain your game, with occasional blunders to make it seem real all while keep some engine running in the background where you randomized choosing one of the top few moves but not the best move. hit the gem might come from Diablo 2, where in the chat there was a gem that would light up or turn off if you clicked it, but otherwise seemed to have no function. It was a conspiracy theory for awhile about what it might do given the right combination, like an easter egg, such that Blizzard had to issue a notice saying the gem really didn't have anything else going on, but not everyone believes them to this day I would guess.
