I bought a Miyoo Mini Plus earlier this year for $60, impulse buy just cause it was so cheap. I liked it enough that I actually wish I'd bought a more expensive model with analog sticks to support more platforms!

The RG35XX Plus is very similar, too, so whichever one you can find a deal on you'll find will scratch the itch similarly. I really like my smaller Miyoo Mini, but those aren't an option anymore.

Is there a reason for throwing the 4 that's already in your hand in a 4-5-6 shape instead of the 4 you just drew? Does rotating out the old 4 for the new 4 help with tile flow? Feng shui perhaps?

Personally I do it when I'm in damaten or my hand is open to throw off people who are looking at which tile in my hand is being discarded, which they do to judge how close you are to tenpai.

Seconding what TheAncardia Codex is saying! Basically it's to throw off people who're trying to judge whether you're close/far away from tenpai. Usually when people discard from their hand, it means they're progressing [citation extremely needed but I'm pretty confident this is true!] All that being said, it's extremely hard to notice in game lol
