It's not necessarily about speed runs - it just didn't make sense to teleport to the baseball court to play a cutscene and after that teleport the player back to wherever they were.

But still, if you end the mission anywhere else, then it doesn't make any sense. Probably Rockstar weren't expecting anyone to catch him so quickly lol

when wardrum studios made ark survival evolved, there was no rain because the devs could not figure out how to do it. also the sky sfx was new to them and it shows, it has a lot of the same glitches that gta de has with it's water shader.

I spoke with Obbe on Twitter (the lead programmer of SA) and my guess about how they work is correct. If a car spawns, it has a ~25% chance to have a passenger. If it wins that roll and gets a passenger, it has another ~25% chance to have a third passenger (if the car has enough seats). Then if it wins THAT roll it has yet again another ~25% chance to have a fourth passenger. (Actual % chance is probably wrong, but the method is correct)

Most of these issues are definitively GPU related. areas not loading and LOD struggling to catch up is textbook.

I cannot tell if the game looks bad because it is poorly optimized, or because it only supports some mobile GPUs. Just from the graphics alone, any 8 core arm SOC made in the last 10-8 years should be run it if they programmed it right.

I think it's IQOO Z3, but not sure. Wouldn't be a good decision to play the game on such phone. That's where some extra glitches, artifacts and lags came from, as if the game wasn't already buggy enough

Damage visuals on vehicles and *especially* planes are absolutely horrible in the definitive edition. They're VERY MUCH obviously worse than in the original. That and if they would return the countryaide gas canisters that were probably accidentally just completely deleted from the entire game would make me prefer the definitive edition.... sometimes

Not really, the mobile port did fix a lot of the things that the console version didn't (moving billboards and objects, san fierro impound lot is accessible in this version, fixed broken animations.), the Definitive Edition mobile port just has it's own issues.
