She also accidentally acknowledged the 3rd monitor the next day on stream and quickly deleted the vod when she realized she messed up. And we have visual confirmation she has a 3rd monitor now. Its not just speculations anymore. Right before her 2nd "blindrun", she used her phone to show some pictures to chat. She turned her phone to the camera and accidentally showed a reflection of the corner of her 3rd monitor on her phone. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like duck.... Yeah.

Looks at, reads from it, people have found footage of the 3rd monitor in a reflection on her phone and someone recreated the run with same blindfold using the method described. Yea she's cooked but hey like I've been saying she clearly lied about the first blindfold, why trust anything she had to say after that.

Right at the very end, someone in chat had said "She'll make a new account as a vtuber with a new name." That's about what I was thinking too. I could very easily see her deciding she doesn't want to admit the lie because her ego won't allow her to, doesn't want to perpetuate the lie because she keeps getting caught, so instead just bail on rl streams and slap an anime girl on screen. Edit: To clarify, I'm not saying that would be a good move for her or that she'd keep her audience that way, just that I could see someone with her ego thinking it would be a way out of this situation. Could be wrong, and maybe in the coming days she'll come out with a confession and apology to her fans, but I'm doubtful of that considering she had the ego necessary to not only pull off this stunt but then to double-down on it and try again while also providing false evidence that her first run was "legitimate." All the videos proving she's a fraud aren't going anywhere, so she's going to have to address it or they'll be an albatross around her neck. Maybe she's fine with that and she'll just keep going while completely ignoring the situation...but I'd imagine that would lead to a constant flow of people in her chat asking her to address the fact that she's been proven to be a liar. Again pointing to her ego, I'd imagine this wouldn't be something she wants to deal with. That's why I figure she'd be the type of person to try and escape the situation by saying "Fuck it, I'll just make a vtuber."

I personally doubt she did the fake blindfold just to get Asmongold to react to it. But for some weird reasons she had to double down on faking the blindfold thus causing the issue to explode. Had she just admitted that it was fake, that it was never meant to get blown up so much and that it was just a bit she did for her own community and that they all were in on it being fake then it wouldn't have gotten her so much negative response.

The behavior of making people believe something that is not real or true, that's disgusting. If you think gaslighting is bad; it's because it's a form of lying and manipulation. Lying manipulates the fooled into thinking/receiving a false reality. If you lie, it shows you have no conscience about it, and have a disregard for the truth and honesty. The sad thing is, she's a skilled gamer, and would have had a lot more respect and a lot less headache if she tried an easier blindfold run and actually tried to do it properly. Or, after this scandal, admitted to it like you suggested and went the Goober13md route of using her experience in trickery and MH to make some content exposing other cheaters. Or maybe do a regular segment of "guess how I'm faking my run", where she goes upfront on doing a fake run and challenges her community to find out how she's doing it. AS a veteran Monster Hunter since Playstation 2 and up, HER speed run is completely fake, I put around 4000hours roughly into each Monster Hunter game SHE did not Blindfold Alatreon without peeking or being able to see or some form of cheating. Alatreon is an Elder Dragon with all Elements, fast speed and some attacks come with no sound cue. I could see a blindfold run against maybe a Lao Shan Lung or Shen Garon, Jhen Mohran or maybe Ceadeus, they are big and very slow. Camera movement alone keeping up with Alatreon IS impossible blind folded, considering his level changes and charges while attacking. This isnt meant to be hate or anything like that.

It's funny that if she had done two things a bit differently, it would have taken longer for people to figure out how she cheated. It's really simple 1. Ignore the 3rd monitor as much as possible. 2. When she pretended to move her OBS back, all she had to do was click a blank part of the screen click and drag. Had she done both her cheating would have taken a bit longer to be figured out. I'm not defending her. I just think that if you are going to cheat that you might as well put more effort into it. Although like Karl has said people who cheat aren't thinking about the game, they are only thinking about cheating.

asking bc streamers of FPS games usually use it to toggle cheats. On top of that her previous video the disconnect message is usually the game doing a sanity check and seeing if you are cheating, if it picks up it disconnects you, even mid hunt.

I think one of the major problems is, that she doubled down on her lie. She tried to make it seem that even the first one is real and I could even imagen that she tries to defend this again. Toi proof her first run wasn't fake, she folded the blindfold and after abyss asked to unfold it, he was timeouted for it. Next video she just takes the camera and shows her room and shows that she only has TWO monitors and in reality, she was just turning her head to hear the sound better! Or some bullshit. But maybe she comes clean, it's her decision. But it was definitely not a good idea to fake something and try to bring attention to it. She has very dedicated viewer and she might ask herself the question.. does she come clean and might ruin her reputation of people who trusted her or will it come to more lies to keep her core audience that would believe everything what she says and hopes people will just forget.

Yea, I feel like she could salvage this with an admission. And then just lean into the bit. Have a blindfold segment during her stream where she puts on a blindfold with obvious holes in it. Just shitpost it completely. New blindfold every week for the segment. Go ham with it. Something that says, yea I fucked up - I'mma roast myself!

I actually picked up on what she was doing immediately when i saw the second video. I had it down to the exact method before even karl did. If she had actually done real blind stuff like i have she might have realized how unrealistic what she was doing was. It seems a lot of people dont realize how big a difference it is muscle memory only goes so far. Its a 100 times harder to do something that normally would take almost no effort.

The blindfold still throws me off. I think there is more to the black one. In Karl's video when she shows the black mask at 22:19 I believe it was if you go frame by frame with the keys you can see her double click the back of the flashlight where her on/off button is but also where she puts the flashlight up to the mask is the headband of the mask so even if she didn't turn it off she put the light to the headband so it wouldn't show through either way.

The KZbinr Danny Gonzalez actually tested a blindfold with the same design on his video about people faking psychic abilities. If you wear the blindfold high up like she did you can see by tilting your head upward

@@rusttyphoon6068 yea I'm aware of that part cause it was one of the big red flags with it cause it sits way to high on the bridge of the nose. The part I mentioned no one talks about so it makes me really curious. I don't know why anyone would double click their thumb on the on/off button so don't know if she actually turned it off but if she didn't by putting the flashlight on the headband and not on the mask then the headband covers the light so even if it was see through you wouldn't see the light shining.
