After his trail, Johnny Somali is free from Japanese prison with a slap on the wrist. He may be through with Japan, but him and his cameraman have plans elsewhere. What foreign land will he terrorize next?!

In other words, he basically got zero punishment and has propably learned nothing. I'm watching from Sweden and I'm fearful that Japanese society will be destroyed by their hospitality like we were.

Man this has to be a joke, Japanese are too kind for their own good. They had him right there, a perfect opportunity to make an example out of him. Do you think this slap on the wrist of a verdict will be enough to discourage copycats and other cancerous grifters like him?
@SuperRandomJapan Жыл бұрын
Personally, I don't think it's enough, but it's at least something. Until this, nobody imagined you could even be arrested. The society, in general, too is taking notice and banning streaming in businesses, etc. The fact that these guys are the weakest members of society shows that even fines and a couple months in jail will scare them to a safer place. For now, at least. I guess we'll find out eventually.

But... For him... Japan is over... He will be banned from entering in Japan, he will not get easy entrance (or not at all) in Japan... And even if he enters in Japan... He will be under surveillance... not very good perspectives for someone that lives from clout and clicks... EDIT: And now he's very famous... That means, he's not gonna be able to get away with that easily anywhere in the world...

Its kinda funny Japan has this zero tolerance policy when it comes to criminal behavior like say for example murder or robbery or even assault 🙄, they would arrest anyone for it even if they didn't committed the actual act and still spend years in jail on death row even, but yet a foreigner gets is allowed to leave to with little to no repercussions. The Japanese justice is very rigid as it is very screwed.

He knows that in Thailand he has to calm down a little because remember last Summer that he went back to Japan because he was getting followed by Yakuzas in Thailand... And in Thailand... You can disappear without a trace if he finds out if you mess with the wrong people...

A big reason why he didn't do nuisance streaming in China or Thailand. They actually would do what needs to be done. Unlike Japan, which they literally had not just evidence, but video proof. Yet, they just let him go.

released?? I haven't seen any evidence of it yet. I think he's still in jail, because from what I understand, the deporting process is long and expensive so he may have to be detained in a deporting facility for a month or so
@SuperRandomJapan Жыл бұрын
No, as far as I know he wasn't being deported. He's just not allowed to stay. Even with my deportation, I was allowed to leave and go back to my apartment. My mistake was overstaying the grace period. It was like a week or 10 days so when I went to the airport and I tried to go through customs, they detained me at the airport for three days to do all the paperwork. Then they escorted me to the plane (of regular passengers, NOT criminals), removed my handcuffs, and I got on the plane and went home.
@jackmercer4244 Жыл бұрын
@@SuperRandomJapan Oh, ok. I guess the deportation facility is for felons only or whatever it's called in Japan? But I'm very interested in seeing the latest photos and videos of him actually release and out in the streets. He must have a really nappy afro by now and lost a lot of weight? But most importantly, I want to see if they smacked that stupid grin of his face lol
@jackmercer4244 Жыл бұрын
@@SuperRandomJapan it would be hilarious if he gets released and then immediately handcuffed again and re-arrested for the other crimes he committed.
@SuperRandomJapan Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think you're right about a separate facility for felons, and those serving prison time or whatever. I got probation, but was still supposed to leave. Johnny may not understand that and try to stay, too.i doubt it though, cause he'll want to stream and make money. Even Jino disappeared for 3 weeks after his release, and is only streaming privately indoors. so we might not see Johnny for a bit.
@silenthill4 Жыл бұрын
they also don't have any right to a speedy trial. they can detain you for life without charging you. they will sometimes do it to undesirables he's got too high a profile though, so he will either get set free without notice or rot in solitary with no communication to the outside world

its sad to see . I was in Japan last October/november for 3 weeks and honestly the Japanese are the nicest people that I have ever met in my life. But that is also the problem I saw some small cracks in their society because they are to nice to foreigners. I am worried about Japan if they dont be thougher to foreigners I give them 10-20 years and they are in the state how we in EU are (I am from switzerland and here its also starting to get way worse) . But beside that I really recommend to visit Japan and as a small tip atleast learn some words japanese they really love it if they see foreigners try. Also be always polite I saw quite a few foreigners who were real idiots and made me embarrassed
