How does soldier not have a captivating backstory? He was made a super soldier, saved the world with his comrades, made a hero organization, was killed and betrayed by his friend, didn't actually die, and continues to fight for good. Meanwhile, all bastion did was fight, turn off, then turn on again and live in the forest with a bird.
