Sorry for the late response but it has been a busy day. I am currently at work but once I get off I am going to update OBS to the most recent version and see if it breaks mine because you are the second person that has said it isn’t working for them. As far as I know nothing has changed and it should still work. I checked with a number of people and they said it still works for them and I have never had an issue myself, but I will try to figure out what is wrong when I have time.

So the not so good news is I updated OBS to the most recent version and everything still works for me. If you want you can join my Discord and use the help channel and I will try to help. But if you set up everything exactly the way I did in the video and changed nothing I can't think of a reason it wouldn't work.

I don't know that there is, I can check with some of the people over on SB's Discord, but if there is I don't know how to do it.

Sadly no it does not, at least not this setup. Not sure if there is a way to do something similar with KZbin. I don’t stream to that platform and haven’t looked into anything.

When I add the code for "OBS Raw" I get a warning saying "Missing request-type, at minimum this is required"? Not sure if it's working or not, as I'm an IRL streamer and hoping this works as planned when I end the stream IRL away form my home computer were OBS uploads the stream to twitch. Also notice when I roll my own credits the only credits that roll are people who have donated Bits. I realize the 12 hour refresh but....seems like more should roll. My last stream was two days ago. Thanks and great video.

Make sure you have your websocket in SB set to v5.x and have the most recent OBS too, the RAW is written for websocket 5. Also make sure you have all of the boxes checked off under credits in SB. Those are the only two things I can think of that would cause those issues. Unless you put the RAW in wrong, but I’m guessing you didn’t lol

@@DangerHiVolt the only thing that changing the websocket will change is things in OBS RAW, other than that everything should be fine. You can give it a shot and if you notice anything you can either reach out for help, or just switch it back at anytime.

Any ideas how I can remove the 'Viewers' from the scroll and then change the order that the scroll is doing?

You can remove viewers by toggling off all of the Users Present (spoke) boxes in the Streamer.Bot credits list. As for the order you would have to edit the order in which they appear in the JSS code.

@@Aidanomic Weird, and you have reset it? So that any previously recorded data is no longer present? If so and they are still showing that is odd because without any data recorded to populate it, it technically shouldn't show up. I guess in that case you would have to edit the JSS code to get rid of that section entirely.

@@Aidanomic lol I can try to play around with it Monday or Tuesday when I have some free time, you have to be careful how you edit it and what you are removing. Try turning everything off in the Streamer.Bot > Settings > Credits boxes and see if the credits still run everything. If it does then you aren't resetting the data cache and that might solve your issue. If you do that and it runs nothing add things in one by one and see when viewers show up, then turn that off.

Yes it is, create a group named knownbots and anything you add to that group will be excluded from the credits in all fields.

Hello sir, Having a bit of an issue getting the source to populate on demand. seems to activate randomly, even if I test the trigger. Only thing I did different was the font color and title names. Have any suggestions?

Nothing you changed should affect it populating the source. You can freely change any information within the quotes and anything in the CSS for style. If when you say populating you mean the source showing you can check your source visibilty settings in OBS and source visibilty toggles in Streamer.Bot. You can also check to make sure you are on websocket v5 for the refresh RAW code that I set up, if it isn't on v5 that won't work. If nothing works and you don't want to start over you can jump into my Twitch stream on Friday if you are available and we can walk through it.

@@geefbird I will try to make the stream. Not sure where to look for the websocket v5 exactly but I believe it is based on the line after connection in the RAW code. The credits would run at random. As it literally decides to work just now. I haven't done anything to it so maybe it is being overzealous on when it resets. Maybe I can create an action to only clear it when I end stream

with the recent sbot update, now there is a Credits tab under Settings. 3 columns of Events to Record, Users Present (spoke) and Track Top (channel points, bits) are you able to maybe piggy back off this video with the new update? @@thetorvic23 That Viewers tab has also been there since the very beginning of SB. What kind of variables are you trying to use? While I think there might be one for viewers (not sure) there are variables you can use for chatters.

While streamer bot may not have a refresh for a browser source, OBS has one. Right click the browser source, go to properties and scroll to where it says refresh when scene becomes active. other than that I found this video very helpful.

OBS definitely does, but the scene is never becoming active because it is nested, so refreshing when the scene becomes active isn't an option in this case because you don't switch to the scene. Plus if you are nesting scenes you can't refresh the browser source manually unless you switch scenes to one that the browser source is actually in, unless you install the source dock plug in and dock the browser source so you can right click and refresh it. However if you don't want to nest it and only want it available on your ending scene you could set it up in there and anytime that scene becomes active it should refresh. Should lol. @@heatherwadams6887 I think you would have to just look for OBS’s server port and set that in the settings of SB. If that makes no sense I can try to help when I am at my machine lol.

Ok so if you click on the Stream Apps tab in Streamer.Bot you can add the port for OBS in there and even if it is a sseparate machine as long as they are on the same network it should be able to control it. It's default should be Host: 127.0.0.1 Port: 4455 which SHOULD work. I can't gaurantee it because I have never done a 2 PC setup, but in theory that should work.

many many thanks @Geefbird . i have one question. why can't I set the font size larger than 400/40? when i go over 400/40, the font sets on standard and don't use the font that i set. and when i hit ok in the OBS Raw it says: ''invalid json. missing request-type, at minimum this is required.''

400 40px/1 is just the weight of the font, and is the maximum supported by Google fonts I believe. You can make the font bigger though by increasing the font size in both locations noted in the video. I will be back from vacation in about 8 hours and I can look at the RAW stuff but I copied exactly what I wrote in mine so it shouldn’t have an error unless you accidentally deleted something.

@@xOcto7x Sorry, I had a lot to do when I got home after being gone for a week. Everything works fine on my end and for a few people I have had set this up already using this video. As long as you are connected to OBS, and copied and pasted the text exactly and only edit the Credit Reel name if needed without deleting the quotes it should work just fine. If you want to you can join my Discord and post in the OBS help channel so I can take a look at what you have going on.
