I was happy too ! lol I tried everything ! Aiming to the top of their left shoulder, our right side… I tried using my body as a center point. What I’ve noticed is that higher rank magik players will use the portal, sword, “e” combo to lunge themselves forward to make it connect and get the most damage . Plus, maybe it’s just me but when you use that combo it feels like “e” has an auto lock Only use “E” when escaping, or when activating ultimate. Look straight up into the air when diving in on characters, use “e” then activate ult. So by the time you land, you’re in darkchild form + all your abilities reset.

People's ranks go up and down. Number 1 Magik this week could be number 3 next week. Game has not really been out long enough for people to be known as "THE BEST" on a champ (other than team captain) so I'm pretty sure all these "#1 Magik" claims are just from people who have BEEN the highest ranked Magik at the time of the video.

Wish I could get teams like this. You don’t have to worry about healing, finding heath, hiding, sneak attacking, nothing. You can just run around and fight with no concern whatsoever. She was my main but nobody wants to heal her. They can’t keep up with her teleports and dashes. Best I can do with her is pick off solo supports or drive the enemy team back.

To be fair he does a lot of hiding and avoiding line of sight. Of course in any winning fight, Magik excels at getting in and annihilating the rest of the team which we see him do. But we also see in the vid a ton of times where he's attacking the enemy Tank and not doing much or getting 1shot out of nowhere so there is still some skill involved in knowing your limits and what your healers can do

Disclaimer: I’m not trying to completely hate or insult your gameplay. But What rank is this bot lobby gameplay? There’s so much actually wrong with this gameplay in high ranks. It feels like this was a diamond game at best. Enemy hitscans can’t aim, mantis doesn’t sleep and in high ranks it’s less practical to dive back line instead of bruising in the front. I’m a one above all magic main on console. I have over a 4.0 winrate and 17k dmg every 10mins. I didn’t see any of the good Magic techs, damage optimizing, animation canceling, crazy teamwork, abilities saved to back off or the demon portal combo that insta kills up to 300hp. At times like 8:40 I feel like you don’t know who to target with the ult and you’re potentially throwing the game. I feel like you don’t position yourself nicely if they run any good Hela, Hawkeye or if Bucky actually has aim in your match. And lastly, I feel like you overcommit and stagger yourself multiple times throughout the video like 3:05. It’s hard to really gage your baseline knowledge when you also hide end game leaderboards. 4:00 overextend, 4:30 you stagger your ult again and go into a corner where you can’t cleave and pressure the whole team while gaining max bonus health.

I mean theres a ton of people claiming rank 1 magik and honestly if they ain't one above all you ain't rank 1 nothin at least other top videos like team captain the wolverine dude actually managed to top the global leaderboard at one point thats worthy of calling yourself rank 1 on character. Also can't be that high with ninja in it he was struggling to climb never kept tabs on him but he was below tim whose GM 3/diamond 1.

Winter soldier is that hard to play either if you have more than one braincell to aim 💀 Psylocke has one of the easiest 1 shot burst combos in the entire games and being able to catch people off guard with invis makes it even easier to land I’ll agree with you on moon knight but not Magik at all she is not that easy 🤦‍♂️
