To be fair as a web developer it’s not that uncommon to pick a random image you have on your computer as a placeholder because art assets are often one of the last things that get finalised and you have had to start coding long before the artwork gets supplied. And that means occasionally mistakes happen and it gets pushed live without the switch happening. So there is a decent chance of an honest mistake

No one would ever allow a copyrighted image (especially from a hyped up videogame) to be used. Quite obvious that this was a mistake and a overlooked one. Considering its a fallback image, its likely they simply forgot about it, as its not popping up in your face when you are developing the website (the video is). I have quite the experience in forgetting to update placeholder art, because i might be waiting for weeks, untill the designer hands me the files.

The Screenshot obviously fits the theme of the game so it is just downloaded for inspiration and whatever. The midnight society controversy is so dumb, programmers use placeholder images all the time when developing and the "real" assets are not ready yet. Also that image doesn't show front and center, the video needs to not load for it to be visible, so someone testing the website might not have noticed the mistake.

I make websites, and when I don't have the proper content I usually place something as a placeholder. Then that placeholder never gets reviewed and it goes live and nobody notices. Why cyberpunk? Unsure, if I had to guess the person who uploaded it is just a random web person at the studio, or most likely someone offshore who just grabbed something techy. Although RTS streamers are certainly another huge group that was neglected, and I'd be happy for at least one to have been nominated. Nor is TFT indisputably the biggest strategy game out there - Hearthstone is quite comparable in numbers but as far as I'm aware, got zero nominations, Most of these guys only play a single strategy game, and even then they only play it part-time. They are better categorised as variety streamers. Even Northern Lion, who is perhaps the closest fit to the category, is currently in the middle of an Elden Ring run.

Destiny is justified in saying that because the trans community doesn't need protection. People are chill about that community, but what gets people annoyed and aggravated about the trans community is when these companies deliberately ban all criticism, mean words, or legitimate opinions against the trans community. They label any complaint or concern as hateful speech and that's utter bullshit. No community is free from insults and criticism. So his outburst is fine. Other streamers can freely insult their subscribers for what they say or believe in but when it comes to the trans community you can't insult them The reason for insulting that community isn't because they're trans, but because what these companies do to "protect" them. No statistic can show how many transpeople were murdered out of hatred. It's assumed that the LGBTQ community is being persecuted or attacked or murdered. LGBTQ community support is up drastically. Banning any criticism of a community because you hold a perception of inferiority or weakness is just as wrong. No one can die from getting insulted. So I find it dumb regulating what people say. Unless someone is encouraging suicide or legitimately, under American law, inciting violence or threatening people with violence, then I see no reason in banning topics. The irony, American companies banning dissent, unpopular opinions, and "hate" speech. Which we now understand as things that a company finds to be offensive.

He wasn't talking about the trans community, writ large, rather the online community of trans activists which he engages with regularly. Therefore, to claim that he attacked an entire community on grounds of some legally protected class or status is wrong. Is what he said shitty? Yes. But he did not attack a protected class of individuals based on the immutable properties of said class.
