I reached their customer support line and they say we should ignore the message.. We can still using Netflix as usual using Desktop Manager

1:42 this doesn't work anymore since 15 July 2024 as Netflix removed it from compatible devices list. So now, the only solution is to install Netflix Web from Desktop Manager and use it with a mouse or with the remote but it's not very convenient. Are there any other workarounds to use Netflix as an app?

You can run netflix on your smartphone and chromecast your phone on the projector. Or just FU netflix, I can live with it

For me the web version shows an error too.

Actually I even cannot cast my smartphone on the projector. I can hear the sounds but not the image.

Yes you are right, same here. I am sorry for misleading you. Only solution for me is to connect a laptop to the projector with a HDMI cable.

I downloaded the desktop manager, but inside, in the apps category, it wouldn't let me download netflix, or anything else there. ‏‪1:29‬‏

Hey there, here's what you can try: First, you could try removing the Netflix APK file from the "Installed" tab within the DesktopManager app, and then attempt to reinstall the APK file again from the "Apps" tab. Alternatively, it might be necessary to reinstall the DesktopManager app completely and give the sideloading process another shot. Hey man, thanks for the guide! My XGIMI Horizon Pro is able to play Netflix now although only on full HD resolution. Have you ever tested installing a different netflix Apk version on the xgimi that is able to play 4k videos? Thanks!

Well, restarting the project solved the problem !! But now it says my subscription doesn’t allow me to watch Netflix on this device. Works fine on my computer or on my phone…

I have this projector, I installed netflix with the desktop installer and I was happy with it until now but now netflix doesn't support it anymore. All you can do is run netflix on your phone and chromecast your phone onto the projector.

Just did on my XGIMI Halo+, first uninstall netflix already in my device, then reinstall it follow your instruction and Netflix now running from inside Desktop Manager, or add it to favorite to show on the main screen. THANKS. No longer need Amazon fire TV stick.
