Streamlight Protac 2AA X USB Review and Unbox

I've been carrying the AA-only version for over a decade. Carried it every shift back when I worked in corrections, which prompted several other officers to order them. I think its hard to beat for value and conveience. Being able to use common batteries is a severely underrated consideration these days.

a big improvement for sure, but still feels FAR behind the Nightcore double AA. That one has better clip, much much better output, and decent UI. Thoughts?

I haven't gotten my hands on the Nitecore MT2A Pro, but on paper it definitely looks like it would a tough competitor to beat. I'll have to reach out to my Nitecore contact to see if she can get me one to compare the two. 2Way Clip, 1000 Lumen, IP68, etc. all make it sound like quite a great little torch. Love seeing comments from a channel I'm a fan of.
