Streamlight TLR7 HL-X | The light to take over the market?

Same. I have both the TLR-1 and X300. I put TLR-1 on my Glock 19. While I’ll put the X300 on my full size handguns like my Staccato P or CZ P10F where the X300 looks more proportionate.

It actually does have the strobe feature. You just got to unlock it.

I own most all major weapon lights including the new TLR7HLX. I do like it very much. Having said that the TLR7 series of lights are not duty lights as is the TLR1 series. And to be correct there is the TLR1 and the TLR1HL. What you gain is the ruggedness and battery life from the TLR1HL. In my opinion the TLR7HL-X is the best EDC handgun light on the market but it doesnt replace the TLR1HL.

I got the TLR 7 HLX as soon as I could get one. I've been waiting for this for years. A compact light that out 1000 lumins and decent candela for a compact duty pistol.

It is a great light and it has the 10 press programmable strobe feature in it have mine set up so single press for high and double for strobe.

Solid points. The only thing that may be argued is that the TLR-1 HL MAY be more durable buuuut, if the TLR-7 HLX is smaller and out of the way, then it's less likely to get snagged on stuff to take a beating in the first place. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Time will tell the durability part. I have never seen any Streamlight model not work after being abused so I think it will be good. Thanks for watching

No, but according to the packaging, the rechargeable battery cuts down the run-time from 1.5 hours (with CR123) to 1.0 hours.

You get strobe with a button sequence click 10 times and hold for 3 seconds

What you gain with the tlr-1 would probably be longer run time and 1000 lumens with lithium batteries. I'm hesitant to trust buying the rechargeable because it's probably a proprietary battery. Sure it will run on lithium but only at 500 lumens.
