Hi Henry! I just acquired a nearly new Surface Go 3 device that is still under warranty and operates on Windows 11. I purchased it for easy productivity, such as handling emails, using MS Office, reading PDF files, illustrating books, LinkedIn and light entertainment. Additionally, I got a third-party pencil from Metapen for basic sketching and learning to draw digitally, even though I am not currently practising as an architect but would like to get back into the field. Can you recommend any similar apps compatible with the Microsoft ecosystem for architects or just architects who are beginners?

Yes! I recommend anyone look into Concepts if they are on an non-iOS device.

Why don't you use line weight? maybe a thinner line weight for the background can help to bring the attention to the main subject

Good question! Sticking with a single line weight is a personal choice as I grew up with pen and ink style. There are ways to call attention to the main subject by how much details you give them.

About 5 hours working with the client. Not sure where AI will fit in this process in the future.

Loved it! I'ts a really good practice to have that "red layer" for lines for first steps and then go and detail everything! I'm going to apply that haha :) did you sketch this on procreate app or any other? :)

Building a construction layer is almost always the first step! This was entirely done in Procreate.
