Campbell was Hannibal, Emily was starling, sad story if you read between the lines. Luke let his weaknesses destroy a perfect relationship.

Good movie. Compelling performance by both leads. Interesting exploration of gender and power dynamics, although I will say that despite the sharpness and sleekness of the movie, there was a nuance and depth missing that i can't quite put my finger on. Also, the ending seemed more like the director's revenge fantasy, rather than anything that could actually play out in real life. She seems intelligent and ambitious, but a definite streak of an avoidant attachment pattern, mixed with a bit of a vendetta/torch that perhaps she could not fully carry out in her own life, but brought to a fantasy fruition in that movie. I honestly cannot realistically see this type of scene playing out between a woman who exhibited way too much empathy for her weak jerk of a boyfriend who had already demonstrated he was capable of violence and abuse, one-on-one, in an apartment. It was good vicarious vindication, but not super realistic.

Emily and Luke, both hurt each other but in the end, it only becomes the fault of men.

He’s very likely gay. no real man would act like that. Plus he was jealous she was just big pimpin the whole time

Billions was better than your movie you could had added the psychology to help Emily handle the men a d she forgot powe corrupt and she became corrupt to Luke why have her going to campbell house every night with the depth hr would have told her campbell was breaking the law and no Russia men would want to work or take orders from an American woman you must had a small budget for this movie
