My husband and I watched the movie just now and we’re enjoying it so much, aside from that I like the girl who’s played as Pili she look a like with my daughter who is 13yrs old. I really missed her it’s been two years now we’re not seeing each other. I’m happy that my husband found this movie on Netflix. And I’m about to send this movie to my daughter so that she can watched this too.

I get that this is Disney+ and it’s supposed to be light hearted, gum drops and cotton candy but they could have dove into the dramatic a little more. The mom leaving the islands/ leaving her dad could have been explained better. She could open up that every where she looked in Hawaii just brought back memories of her dead husband. That it broke her down remembering what she lost over and over... they could have made a real heart connection, close but not quite.

I think I spotted a blooper during the scene when they were in the cave with all the waterfalls. Behind the long roots that they pull down looks like blue pipes were feeding the waterfalls. I replayed and sure enough the blue pipes should not have been there. Did anyone else see this?
