What is StreamYard?

This is the second unit of the StreamYard Tutorial series. Now that we've discussed why you should live streams, let's talk about why StreamYard is a great tool to use for live streaming.

Thank you Stream Yard, I was in a bind today 3-22-20. I was scheduled to do a live stream blast via another live stream platform and that platform tanked at the time I was going live. I quickly googled comparative live stream sites and Stream yard popped up. I just opened it to read the contents of Stream yard and the first thing I was asked to do was to give my email. I complied and "Wala" I was sent an email then directed to FB then i was in Stream Yards live stream platform. I did a test run, and I asked one of the viewers to come in as a guest. I sent them the link and they were in the feed instantly. I'm in love with Stream Yard, no effort at all and I am totally not computer savvy and this worked like a jiffy for me. Thank you

What if I want to livestream or record high school games football/basketball? I would have an IP Camera in my network dedicated to the feed. Not really interviewing or interactive, just fixed camera on the action, maybe an announcer?

There are ways to include your stream on your school's website as well. One of those could be an unlisted KZbin video. Would that work for what you are trying to do? Christian Karasiewicz 🦆

StreamYard itself handles it. Guests just navigate to the invite link

@@whatsoutthere6822 StreamYard is the program used for bringing in guests. They open their browser and go to the invite link. If you mean dial ins, we don't have an option to dial in.

You don't need Skype if you are using Stream Labs, and that means you don't need the expensive gaming computer and NDI to run it either. This solution would literally save you thousands of dollars in setup and equipment fees.
